I’m writing in English so your owners also can read this.
We have subscribed to HelloFresh since early summer this year.
We really like the concept and easy recipes with a great family friendly variety of food.
The customer service is professional and very nice and understanding.
But, and this is a very big BUT! The everlasting missing products and sometimes rotten vegetables is just not acceptable.
We have not had a single delivery where we did not have to go to the supermarket and buy missing items.
The reason for subscribing to HelloFresh is to get a great variety of good food, easy to prepare and time-saving in our busy life.
We have never experienced this with competing concepts.
I always get an explanation that you are facing problems with your supplier.
FIX IT!
Employ a management that can sort our sub-suppliers and get a grip.
Such a pity to ruin a great concept with poor management.
Delivery and customer support are very good and professional

Should have read the reviews here first.
Forgot ingredients for meals to we had to go out and buy. Then they offered 34kr back as compensation! Like the other reviews say, they also take money out of your account without asking. Stay away from them.
Now they will give their standard response "contact our team " which we did and they don't really care anyway.

We have recieved a HelloFresh box now twice.
We didn't like the first box, and two days after receiving I tried to cancel the second one, however, the website did not allow for this as it stated that our box was already packed! That is, the box seemed to be packed 5 days prior to the next delivery!
The box not only could not be cancelled, but the menu could not be edited either!
However, this was not the only issue.
Lack of ingreients:
- Our first box was missing one ingredient, the second one 2 from the ingredients listed in the recepies
- Furthermore, in both boxes there was a recepie that called for an egg, however no egg was included in either box. I was lucky enough that I had an egg the first time, not so lucky the second time around- I had to go to the store for some eggs - which with aprox 500kr (3meals 2 people) is riddiculus.
- Lastly, there were a few ingredients that were insufficient to complete the recipe. For example pnako, included in the ingredients was not enough to cover the provided meat even with a thin coating.
Meal Size and variety:
-Me and my partner have a normal appetetie, howeverwe both have been left hungry after our HelloFresh dinners
- From the options of meals you can choose each week there is little variety/ imagination. Of course in this case this is a personal opinion.
Delivery:
The delivery system of the boxes expects you to be home for long streteches during the working day, something not really achievable unless one works from home.
On the positive side, the food was tasty

Nice - BUT : it would be really be nice to be able to change at least the language settings of the app into English. A minor effort for you and huge improvement for me. Dare I suggest to have the cooking instructions in English ...

Great recipes, but horrible service. Almost always there is a missing ingredient, and almost always something is rotten (mostly things like coriander and parsley, as they come in a plastic bag and are wet, so they start rotting quickly). Every dinner we are missing something, and we either have to cook without it or run to the shop, which defeats the purpose. Customer service does usually give refunds or money for the next order, but we are not going to write to them every night, we just want good service. Best option is to save the recipes, and just order normal grocery deliver ourselves, much more reliable, and gets the same results basically.

We decided to try HelloFresh because we had a coupon for the first 4 boxes and we got hooked. After the first 4 we tried a different mealbox company (primarily because of the price) and could feel the difference right away. HF recipes are so simple but SO delicious! It is pricey though. In our house it has become a necessity and thus a priority but I would want to see more budget-friendly options from HF.
The only complaint I have is that one time our delivery was 1,5 hours late which meant we didn't get a proper dinner that day.

I stopped using hello fresh due to poor quality of the food (sometimes rotten), and poor customer service.
Every few weeks I get marketing material to come back. I never asked for this, or consented to this. I’m not a customer any longer.
They will spam you. Later you get more emails. Physical mail, text messages.
Ask Hello Fresh to stop? No reply. You just get some marketing later. I don’t want any.
Please delete all my data. Don’t claim I’m your customer. For you own sake I hope you are not inflating your reporting by claiming former customers are still customers

I got a discount from a friend, and after a couple of days Hello Fresh cancelled the first order and disabled the discount without notification. It was impossible to get in touch with customer service, not an email nor a phone number. The only thing was a chat bot, which are notoriously unhelpful.
I kept the subscription and I'm happy with the product and service, the food is fresh and the recipes delicious and easy to cook. It's a smart option for those like me who work from home, hate going to the shop and cooking for one.
Great job, but I'd like to have the chance to use my discount, please.

After only a month of trying Hello Fresh we've cancelled the subscription because of the awful customer service experience. Every week we had to call because of an error with a coupon code we were gifted to get stated with the service. Each time we were told it would be fix next week, sadly those were empty promises. By the last phone call we were told we were never eligible for the discount in the first place, that nothing could be done and we could not cancel the next box and get a refund. Even though two prior customer service agents had promised us a lower price on the next delivery (per the coupon). Not only that, half of our deliveries arrived late... not being able to trust that the boxes will be delivered within the window you choose is just not acceptable. One box arrived after 21:00, over three hours late. You'd think the company would reach out when these errors occur, but when we got the boxes late there was no apologies or explanations. It's a shame since we actually enjoyed the meals, but they are not worth the trouble of dealing with such poor customer service.
