While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

The Government incentives are a scam.

The Government incentives are a scam, once the deposit is paid to Hellosolar you don't hear from them again! I have sent 15 emails, no reply, rang them so many times and was told the deposit was non refundable as per terms and conditions on the original email that has nothing at all about the deposit. Disgusting

Disorganised.

They offered to replace my gas heater with a split system reverse cycle aircon. Very quick to sign me up and take a deposit, then it was “Someone will call you next week.” But they never do. Finally after three weeks I got a phone call that the installation was approved, and someone would call me next week. Exactly 30 minutes later I got a second phone call to say the installation would NOT go ahead and they would refund the deposit. Neither caller knew anything about the other caller, and they both promised to investigate and get back to me. So far nothing, and I’m still waiting for the refund. Whenever I phone them, the person I want is not at their desk, and will call me back, but never call. Every email I’ve sent has been ignored, or I receive a reply that someone will call me, but they never do.

bad after sales

Have not been able to connect the monitoring software to the invertor for over 12 months due to an error with a card in the invertor. Invertor replaced in 2020 but they say it is out of warranty as system was installed in 2016. They just kept sending out instruction have to connect the monitoring software to the invertor without checking that the invertor was the issue but now they gone silent so next stop consumer affairs. Avoid these guys.
