Since 1989, we have been providing compassionate, person-centred care at home to individuals across the UK. Our journey started in a small house in Warwickshire, and today, we have over 150 branches across the country. This growth has allowed us to extend our exceptional care and make a bigger difference while allowing our customers to remain in the place they love. Our carers are kind and compassionate individuals who always go the extra mile. They are fully trained to provide the highest level of care, no matter what condition you are living with. We are also recognised for delivering specialist dementia care, a service we have enhanced through our partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society. This has allowed us to provide our carers with dementia training to help support our customers living with different types of dementia. Our service is fully regulated and monitored by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales. We are proud to have received an overall rating of GOOD, and the CIW reported that our carers go “above and beyond, doing things that are ‘not on the list’.

It is nice to have regular cleaning hut it's such a relief in particular not to have to worry about getting my rubbish out. I can manage to shift it from the house but I cannot safely lift the bags into the bins or move the bins around.
The helpers I have had so far have been pleasant, willing and helpful.
I think, if the helper has done all I need, they should be able to go even if the hour is not up. At the moment we sit there trying to make conversation when we both have problems understanding one another's accents. I have plenty of people to talk to and really don't need any more.

Helping Hands, Ramsgate. I can't recommend them enough. Gemma, who came out to speak to us, was so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. In a very short space of time (three days) HH had carers lined up. They also took on the specifics of the help we required. It's bespoke and it's also ad hoc so they do as much or as little as you need. In our case, they helped Mum transition back into her usual routine after her knee replacement. She didn't require personal care so they came and tidied up and made up cups of tea. That sort of thing. It was such a help for us to have someone check up on Mum in what was a stressful time. She was very comfortable with having them visit and liked all the carers - a nice bunch!

We were delighted with the care received for a family member who was taking a short break away from home.
They were punctual and very attentive and made the short break an enjoyable experience.

Having the same carer has made my experience with Helping Hands really enjoyable. However all the carers who have been to my home bar one have been excellent.

Very happy with the 24/7 care provided to my elderly parents by Helping Hands carers Martha and Lorraine.
Being able to remain in their own home with first class care gives me great peace of mind knowing they are being well looked after in a place they are familiar with.

Just for clarification, Mrs Kyte made all the arrangements, but the care was for my wife, Maureen Morley, and I of course paid the fees.
I did not find your admin totally user-friendly, not least when, having paid the full amount in advance, I subsequently received an invoice for the first couple of weeks. I was later told this was purely procedure.
Understandably, Fatima got off to a shaky start, but as soon as she became acclimatised, she was a magnificent carer. She made Maureen feel really at ease, the looked after all her needs, including intimate washing, she conversed with her, and in fact made sure she was always as comfortable as possible.
Fatima also clicked really well with our more-than cleaning lady, and indeed became so much part of our little entourage that both sides were sorry when the time came for her to leave.
She is a treasure and deserves the best references possible.
Your admin, and indeed the PR of your image... Needs tightening up.

The staff and clients are amazing but the lack of compassion or professionalism from office and management ruins the whole business . As long as calls are covered the office staff do not care where they send the carers , so many miles between calls , and don’t care about continuity as long as the stats are looking good for management . From experience , the only thing holding this place together is the dedication fom the amazing kind carers . Peterborough branch

I approached Helping Hands to assist use with my farther who has onset Alzymers but insists he keeps his independence, struggling at the basics such as cooking cleaning general hygiene. The phone call was very friendly asking all the right questions, understanding and patient. Rashurd was very polite and friendly. Their system was explained in detail and arranged for a home visit to meet family and discuss a way forward with Helping hands. Very impressed so far.

My Wife has Alzheimer's and mobility problems. It takes 2 people to move her safely. Helping Hands send 4 carers each day to get her up and dressed, help with 2 walks per day and to get her ready for bed. They send an extra carer if I need to go out for sometime. The carers are clearly well trained and write a report on each visit to provide continuity. I have used them for well over a year and am entirely satisfied with their service.
