Agreed to collect items from a house clearance after our mum passed away. Asked for photos of the items so they could provide an adequate sized van to collect. Upon receiving the photos we got a very curt email saying the items were not suitable for their charity. More like they would not get sufficient resale value from the items, all of which were perfectly suitable for someone that doesn't have much. This was explained away, by Mandy saying the sofa was dirty - absolute rubbish. Very rude. Avoid these people like the plague, people dealing with bereavement think they've found assistance with clearing a property, only to find out its a SCAM!!!!

This company has one shop in scunthorpe and on goggle maps still doesn't exist. Say lay cover most of Britain but GOV provides little returns for a "large company " stay care just another rip off company.

I found this organisation very professional and considerate. They accepted the items I offered and arranged the collection very efficiently. Mandy McDermott dealt with all phone calls and emails very promptly. Mick and Andy turned up on time and were friendly and helpful did all the lifting and carrying they did a great job on a particularly hot day. I would recommend this organisation to any who is seeking help with house clearance.

Arranged a house clearance several weeks in advance and explained that it had to be done that week. Then when the time came, the decided that they couldn't be bothered as it was now too far. They first tried to weasel out of the agreement by demanding at least 10 major items (we had about 20) or they would pull out. Then they pulled out anyway as the address was too far for them to come. We had to have a roadside giveaway of everything. Mandy McDermott's excuse was that she was a volunteer and so we shouldn't expect better. Give your items to someone else that you can trust to keep to their word.
