Complete fraud!

Ordered a rubber strap for my Rolex, paid $145, what I got was a cheap package from china, strap wrapped in a flimsy plastic bag, product looked like five dollar strap from AliExpress. Complete fraud, how is this company still doing business beyond my understanding. Should have checked the website like trust pilot before ordering. Please, please don’t buy anything from them.

This company is as close to a fraud as…

This company is as close to a fraud as it gets. I received a strap I ordered and accidentally clicked nylon and 19mm and it should have been 20mm leather. My mistake. I paid them $19 to ship the new strap and $46 for postage for the return. When received, Mia Schmitt wrote back and said the box was empty with no strap. I objected because I put the strap in the box. The following day they wrote back and said they found the strap. Then they send the strap to me and, when received, it was the 20mm but they did not send it in leather as requested. They won't take care of their mistake and want me to pre pay $19 again for shipping and I will be forced to ship to them for another $46. The strap is not what they described anyway. It is very cheep and probably cost about $5 to make in China. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY AND MIA SCHMITT IS A LIAR.

How to get your money back - File CHARGEBACK

I agree with other reviewers — this is a Swiss brand pretender. What they actually send you is cheap Ali-quality product. CHINALVETUS!

I ordered two straps, paid USD 180, and received garbage. The quality was embarrassingly low for the price. CHEAP!

Two things to know:
First — just don't buy from them.

Second — if you already made the same mistake I did, don't stress. Request refund request first (Anyway it will reject your request for sure). Then, go straight to chargeback with your credit card issuer. That's what I did and I got every cent back, no drama.

Don't waste time with Chinalvetus. Your credit card company has your back.

Looks Swiss, ships from China — classic dropshipping

Don't be fooled by the Swiss branding. This is a dropshipping shop.

My order shipped from China — not Switzerland. The products arrived defective in the packaging.

When I reported the defect with photos, support rejected my claim without even looking at the item, blaming "use."

Not Swiss at all. It is classic dropshipping.
This is exactly the kind of shop the Swiss consumer protection authority (Stiftung für Konsumentenschutz) has been going after since 2025. Worth reporting to them if this happened to you.

Tip if you're already stuck with one of their orders: don't waste your time asking it for a refund. They'll deny the defect, and then reject your refund. Go straight to your credit card issuer and file a chargeback. Given how many complaints this shop already has online, your bank will likely process it faster than Helvetus would ever refund you.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Placed an order two months ago and it still hasn't arrived. Customer service is unresponsive and completely unhelpful. Save your money and shop elsewhere.

Helvetus - truly awful, on many levels

To start, ordered by mistake and email requesting cancellation sent within 5 minutes. The company then proceeded to dispatch 5/6 hours later stating cancellation not possible. So terrible customer service. Strap now arrived, not great quality at all, extremely flimsy, mechanism is agricultural. Now I'm fully expecting a fight on a return given their policy. As others have said 100% avoid.

Watch out with these people. Absolute fraud.

Watch out with these people. They’re absolutely fraud.

This is my experience with this people:

1. Sending me a strap they knew from the start wouldn't fit my watch as I specifically told them the exact measures I needed for my Aquatimer strap. They told they had the perfect match. It wasn’t and they knew.
2. Sending me from China (Alibaba) the exact same chinese strap sold on eBay for almost one third of the price (I know this because I had both side by side, but at least eBay seller fully refunded me and paid for return fees).
3. Had to pay for return fees, although it was them who sent me a strap they knew from the start wouldn't fit my watch.
4. They acknowledged reception of the returned item but haven’t refund me although they claim they have. My bank says they haven't. It’s been more than 20 days. Refund should be here by now.
5. Not providing any sort of requested proof that refund was made. My bank says they should be able to, but Helvetus claims their system does not generate refund certificates.

So my advise is to stay away from these people.

They have a fancy webpage, but they send you the same strap that’s sold on eBay or AliExpress for almost 3 times the price, just on a nicer package (not necessarily nice, just nicer).

terrible company!! do not buy from them. i bought a $90 leather strap. they did not send tracking info and shipping company left watch in my driveway in rain. stainless steel pins ended up being rusted. also, leather ripped because the strap did not properly fit my watch even though it's supposed to. this all happened the day it was received. i contacted them and they refused to take back or offer refund. stay away!

Just a terrible company to do business…

Just a terrible company to do business with. I communicated with them prior to purchase that the band would fit my watch. I have a Cartier Santos Dumont with a slide pin. It was confirmed that this was a near genuine article and they guaranteed it would fit. When it finally came it in no way fit as it did not have a slide pin. There was no way to attach the band to the watch! It took about a week of multiple emails back-and-forth, threatening to contact my credit card company before I finally got confirmation for a refund. Four weeks later, they had not even begun the refund even though they said they already did it. I called my credit card company and had the charge removed. Sometimes it’s better to buy the original article directly from the brand.

This strap for Cartier santos dumont…

This strap for Cartier santos dumont states that it’s “crafted without compromise” yet it doesn’t fit shipped from china and scratches the life out of the watch case. Terrible company I hope they are happy with my $100

unreliable watch out….,

This is a company I absolutely ask you to avoid. I ordered a strap here, but it turned out to be out of stock. I was offered several other items, but I wasn't interested in them. I asked for a refund, and I was eventually promised that this would be processed immediately. In the meantime, several weeks have passed, and still no refund. Contacting the company is useless; there is no phone number, and the emails seem to me to be automated replies. A certain Mia Schmid is supposed to answer them 😣 So once again, be careful with orders here.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING. Any positive reviews you see from here are fake. I ordered a strap in November 2025 payed 70£ and have not received anything. It is almost June 2026 now. The communication is terrible and its probably AI as they are sending me repetitive emails that make no sense. This is a scam website disguised by a well made website.

Still no refund after a month. Avoid.

I returned my item, and Helvetus confirmed they received it over a month ago. Customer support (Mia) claims the refund was issued to my Visa, but they refuse to provide a bank receipt or ARN code. My bank confirms that no money was ever sent. This looks like a delay tactic.
Avoid them at all costs!
