Most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many consumers are satisfied with the support received, finding it brilliant and helpful with regular check-ins and practical advice. People also appreciate the professional processes, including thorough assessments and monitoring, and the ease of use of the app and medication administration. The product itself has helped many achieve positive results, with some noting significant weight loss and improved eating habits. However, some people were dissatisfied with the refund process, reporting difficulties in obtaining full refunds, especially when trying to cancel or when blood test kits were deemed faulty. There are also concerns about customer service, with some experiencing unhelpful responses and a lack of communication. A few customers found the onboarding process shambolic, citing issues with blood tests, inconsistent data collection, and delays in receiving medication.

Everything is ok but would like better access of the info given from advisor. The phone number given disappeared before I had time to write it down.

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great support and reminders and tips didnt loose as much as I thought in the first week but it's only the start

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Easy to follow instructions and kept up to date. My only question is when will the dosage change from 0.25 to a stronger dose and will I be advised. ?

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Easy to use app, and medicine is easy to administer. The only thing I don't like is the weekly check in phone call, it's a faff.

Hidden conditions and unfair refund

I paid £99 for the HeMed Weight Loss Programme. The key details of what was required to use the service were not properly disclosed before purchase, which made the programme unusable for me.

When I requested a refund, they refused to return the full amount and only offered £40, keeping £60 despite the fact that I never even received the jab. The blood test kit remains unused — only the outer seal was opened to scan the barcode. Claiming the kit alone justifies keeping £60 is unreasonable and misleading.

This was a poor customer experience with hidden conditions and unfair refund handling. I would not recommend HeMed based on how my case was treated.

Edit after company reply:
HeMed’s reply is misleading. I paid £99 for the full programme including a jab, yet the jab was never delivered. The kit is unused (only the outer seal opened to scan the barcode). I even went through the signup process again to check in case I had missed something — at no stage before payment is the scale requirement disclosed. Their claim that this was “clear from the start” is simply not true. Keeping £60 for an unused kit while failing to provide the jab or disclose key conditions is unfair and unreasonable. I have now raised the matter with my bank.

Extra note:
What makes this worse is that HeMed is the same company group as SheMed. A few months ago, when I purchased through SheMed and changed my mind, they refunded me in full with no issue. Yet under HeMed, for the same situation (unused kit, no jab delivered), they are keeping £60. This shows inconsistent and unfair treatment of customers under their different brand names.

Next note:
Since posting my review, I noticed that HeMed edited their response. In their first reply they claimed the scale requirement was shown “from the very first visit” and “reiterated multiple times” during checkout. After I pointed out this was untrue (I went through the signup process again and confirmed it is not disclosed before payment), they quietly removed that claim. This only confirms that the information was not clearly presented to customers, and their original reply was misleading.

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way, and we appreciate you sharing your feedback.

To clarify, the requirement to complete a blood test as the first step to joining our programme is displayed clearly and transparently from the very first visit to our website, and is reiterated multiple times during the onboarding and checkout process. This step is in place to ensure patient safety and clinical suitability before any medication is prescribed.

As outlined in the terms and conditions agreed to at the time of purchase, we’re unable to issue a full refund once the medical kit has been dispatched, as it is classified as a medical device. That said, we aim to be fair and accommodating, which is why we’ve offered a £40 goodwill refund to cover part of the initial cost, even though the terms do not require us to do so.

If a cancellation request is submitted before the blood test kit is dispatched, we provide a full refund, in line with our terms and conditions.

We’ve requested further information from you, and once we’ve received it, we’ll review everything and be in touch to clarify what happened and work with you to find the best way forward.

A complete game-changer

Been struggling with my weight for the better part of a decade. Tried everything, but nothing stuck. My wife referred me to Hemed and she told me that that it was designed specifically for men.

Getting started on Mounjaro has been incredible at shutting down the constant 'food noise' in my head. For the first time, I feel in control of my appetite, not the other way around.

The support from the Hemed team has been great – regular check-ins and practical advice on food and exercise that actually fits into a normal life.

The results speak for themselves. I have more energy, my clothes fit better, and I just feel more like my old self. If you're a bloke who's fed up and on the fence, I can honestly say give Hemed a go. It's been brilliant for me.
