Hempteach is fantastic!

We are a home-educating family. In Jan 2025, we looked high and low for quality tutoring for KS3, and we found Hemp Teach. I am so glad we did, as it has helped us to navigate the KS3 journey with ease. The lessons are informative, engaging, and well structured. Dan and Stacey are a great team, and we highly recommend them!

My daughter has had the worst first year of senior school due to bullying. Every morning I’d watch her go in trembling and shaking holding back the tears scared after crying in the car terrified. I’d go to work some mornings crying myself. The teachers and head of year were no help at all, she was if anything an inconvenience to them. This was a massive step deciding to home school her as you are told school is where they should be, however, after the first day I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision and my daughter is so happy already. The communication I have received from Dan helping me know what we are both doing, as we had no idea, I can not fault. Dan was also her first teacher today and she said he was so much fun. The children don’t have to talk in it, they can just watch and the camera and mic are already turned off. You just see the teacher talk and can type to join in and ask questions etc. You can also watch the lesson recorded back after which you don’t get the opportunity do in school. I am very excited to see her progress and get back to her old self.

I will add I was recommended this company by my daughter’s friends mother who had taken her older sister out for the same reasons previous and says she is doing so much better.

Mental health matters and if you are having doubts please don’t. I’d give these guys more than 5 stars if I could. I just wish I’d done it sooner.

My daughter returned to school in the second term of year 11 - by this time Mr Hempkin had taught her for year 10 and the 1st term of year 11
I explain this to you because she was worried she would be behind as we homeschooled since year 7

My daughter enjoyed every lesson and felt engaged with his teaching
Year 11 in school for her soon turned to revision in every lesson meaning her Hempteach lessons were her main source of learning

It turned out my daughter was quite unwell during the exams too so we wonder if she hadn’t of been what would her marks have been
