The product is a 10/10. The reliability of the product being consistently in stock is a 2/10. The customer service is a 3/10. Look, the mailers are the top of the line and both the founders and the company as a whole know it. I find myself scrambling almost every other month, ordering from other companies because the mailers are chronically out of stock. Really not their fault if the raw materials are unable to be sourced, but it’s just something that should be known. I wish I could have consistency in my mailers, but I can’t because I can never get these ordered.

While they have dedicated customer service representatives, I have had multiple instances in which it feels like an AI bot, not a human. Questions go unanswered, invoices are totaled incorrectly multiple times, basic troubleshooting steps are provided even though already stated as attempted. The reply time is a maximum of one email per week, maybe.

I just want to love this company so much. I absolutely love the transparency, and the product, but I’m constantly left Feeling frustrated with a completely out of stock website and basically unusable customer service.

I also want to note that I pay a premium price to ship these to the USA from Australia, so I’m willing to pay the price but quite frankly not anymore due to my frustrations with everything stated above.

I have been buying my boxes for about 1.5 years with Hero and have never left a review (oops)!! But just want to say thank you to the team for always turning them around so fast every time. ALso would like to say that we are about to buy your tissue paper too. we are obsessed with hero over here. LOVE YOU GUYS

Bad communication and lack of expertise

I cannot overstate how frustrating and disappointing trying to work with Hero Packaging was. After almost 100 emails, we were left with an unusable, poor-quality order of packaging - that instead of elevating our product, made it look cheap. Details were constantly forgotten. The people we spoke to had no knowledge about the products they were trying to assist in selling.

We tried countless times to escalate and speak to someone who could help us, to try to figure out a solution, a redo, or even to just feel heard. Ultimately, the team lead told us they stood by their team's communications. Supporting your team no matter what is nice in theory, but surely not at the expense of the quality of service you provide.

If you are a small business looking for a packaging expert, this is not it. We wasted almost six months, so much energy on frustration and confusion to be left with nothing.

They don't ship to parcel lockers.

This company is a scam. They advertised a pack of 65 boxes, sold at $1 each. I put an order through, my order clearly said 65 items in the summary total. They then send me one box and tell me that's all i ordered. The item i put in my cart LITERALLY had 65 written on the image. Deliberately misleading, very deceptive.

I’m writing this review from the perspective of a consumer. Nothing makes me happier than receiving a package made from hero packaging. The branding, attention to detail and quality of the materials used are superior, making it easier to resend/return items if needed. Plus sustainable and compostable? Huge win. Love this brand. I’m so sick of receiving boring, non-eco friendly, cheap plastic packages. I have and will continue to change who I buy from as a result. This is not an endorsed review, I just buy a looooooot of stuff online and pay attention to who businesses choose as suppliers. If you’re a business contemplating Hero, make the jump.

Unfortunately their pink mailers are fragile and do not protect products at all. We used them for our jewelry business and we lost hundreds of dollars worth of stock when the packaging failed to do its job and arrived completely crushed to multiple customers. I do not recommend. We’ve used other mailers before and never had any issues. Beware, it created lots of issues for us.

high quality mailer boxes for e commerce, the mailers arrived and the size was too big for my mailer boxes that i ordered and they send the delivery company to pick it up back to them while they send me the other size, they answered to any email within minutes and phone calls and gave me the best service, Samantha you are a legend and you gave me the best customer service HERO packaging win you, i will definitely work only with this company for any future order and Grow my business with them. parcel bags are so thin they rip at the dullest box corners. I even put a smaller box inside one and as I was about to seal it, the top where the 2 seals are ripped off completely. AND THEN the bottom of the bag just exploded completely.

My bags are 3 months old and I have now have had 2 break and the contents are lost. Over $300 worth of stock gone. Reached out to customer support and they have brought up the fact I brought similar bags 2 years ago saying that I have used these bags.

Dreadful Dreadful product & after sales service. Do not waste your money on this product, might seem cheap but I can guarantee you the cost of the products you'll lose won't be worth it.

Ordered HEAPS of these packaging slips, all sizes and colours. Haven't been able to use all of them within a couple of years and they are all falling apart. I've had to dispose of hundreds of bags which is a huge waste. Not sustainable in my opinion which defeats the purpose of using them in the first place. I emailed them and they haven't replied.

We love using Hero Packaging. The range is awesome - both in terms of options and style. Have been using their packaging for over two years without fault.

I'm a regular customer of Hero Packaging - eye catching colours, design team regularly bringing out new products, and great enviro credentials.

I placed an order on August 17, 2023. It hasn’t arrived. Or even shipped. No further contact has happened.
I guess I’ll update this if they actually ship it or refund me? I requested a refund.

Found Hero after using overseas suppliers who may have been slightly cheaper but full of delays, excuses and non-environmentally friendly practices and materials. Will never go back.
