Hertford Glass were an absolute pleasure to deal with. The window in my home shattered & they came the same day to ensure my home was safe. Ryan kept me informed of arrival times & Daniel who came to fit the panel was friendly & professional & done a great job. Not a speck of glass from the old window was left, very clean & today work. I also had a follow up call the next day to ensure all was ok. Great customer service & would certainly recommend.

I have recently had a pair of doors installed. The service throughout was excellent! Perhaps not the cheapest on the market, but you certainly get what you pay for in terms of product and service.

Communication was good throughout, and the fitter who installed the product was professional, and his work was clean and very tidy.

The warranty information arrived promptly by email.

Contacted Hertford Glass to get a new glass panel in the roof of my conservatory which needed a hole put in for a flue for a log burner. Spoke with Ryan, couldn’t be more helpful, ensured that it was all completed for the stove engineers. The glass fitters did a great job. Would definitely recommend.

We'd had a couple of jobs done by Hertford Glass after they were recommended to us by our very good builder. That work was done very well with the minimum of fuss and we decided to ask for a quote for a new front door and asked for a visit from one of their reps. to suggest some possible designs. We already had a composite front door and the first question Jean-Claude asked us was "why do you want to change what you have?"; we explained that, firstly, the company that supplied the door (about 11 years ago) used a standard threshold height and one of us has mobility problems and found increasingly difficult to step over it so we needed a lower threshold. Secondly, the design of the side panels to match the door panel glass wasn't something the first company could do so, instead of telling them to depart with haste we accepted that it couldn't be done! Hertford Glass did supply side panels to match the new door and the result looks marvellous. All the fitters left the job clean and tidy and Rhys, who fitted the door was similarly excellent, causing no damage to a newly K-Rendered wall that was completed last year. I was satisfied also with the quote we received which was half the price of an on line quote I had previously. A most excellent job and I was always kept informed about the progress of manufacture!

We chose Hertford Glass to replace our windows as they did such an excellent job on our new front door last December. Again, we were delighted with the result and very impressed with the quality of the windows and the professionalism of everyone involved. We had to have scaffolding erected to assist with the upstairs windows and the company they used were efficient, professional and very careful.

Massive thanks to all the team at Hertford Glass. We met Adrian initially who took us through all the options for our replacement front door. Louisa, Lianne and Charlotte kept us fully informed of progress. Rhys installed the door within a couple of hours and the fit quality was first class. A great team of people delivering great service using quality products. We used Hertford Glass based on recommendation, and we were not disappointed. Look no further for great old fashioned service with a smile!

We have just had our front door and a bathroom and bedroom window replaced as well as my mother in laws bathroom window and are delighted with the results. The various stages from initial salesman coming round ,to someone else to measure up and iron out any queries we may have had , then the door and windows being made and finally the fitting by Rob and Terry was all done in a very professional manner. The admin staff were also very friendly and efficient making sure that we were happy with the results. The whole thing probably took three months from initial contact to job done (although we did have Christmas and new year in there as well!) which was fine by us as we weren’t in a particular hurry and would rather the job was done properly rather than rushed. Very pleased with this firm and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

We are delighted with our beautiful new front door and the service, efficiency, courtesy and professionalism of all the staff at Hertford Glass that we dealt with, from the initial discussion in their showroom, to the surveyor who came to measure and confirm our requirements, to the door fitter, who made an excellent job and all the backroom admin team, who dealt with the invoices and aftercare.

Being able to 'create' our ideal door on their website was very useful in confirming our priorities and the design we preferred.

We were hugely impressed with all of them and would not hesitate to recommend them or their products.

Have had an excellent service with Hertford glass fitting new bifolds and a bay window. The windows look amazing and have improved the heat retention in the house. Really great service from the whole team- professional, friendly and quick and clean. So impressed have gotten back to do some of our upstairs windows as well

Anyone who is looking for a provider that is timely, and fulfils things when they said they will, I would recommend to go elsewhere rather than Hertford glass.

I invited Jean Claude Le Bon into my house on the 7th of December, and the whole experience has been awful since. Jean was supposed to come at 10:30, however called in the morning to say he cannot make it till 1pm, ok, fine, I rescheduled my work meetings.

When he got to my property, the whole experience was unpleasant. Jean did little to no consulting, instead took the previous drawings by someone else, and kept pushing me to go for triple glazed windows even though I repeatedly told him we do no want this. There was no consultation about the windows what so ever and the whole thing was so rushed.

When Jean left my house that day, he assured me that the quote will be sent to me by the end of the day. By 10th on January, I still hadn’t heard from him. I understand that stuff comes up and delays happen, but to completely ignore the customer is unacceptable.

I called the office to give a prompt for the quote, and was reassured Jean will be in touch. I politely requested to not be contacted on the 10th of Jan, as I was at a work event, and to contact me on the Monday if need be. Again, Jean completely ignored my request, and proceeded to call me on the 10th to finally inform me that there is a delay on the quote.

The quote finally came on the 14th of Jan, 7 days later than promised. Again, in the quote Jean completely ignored my requests (such as separating the quote for supply and the fit) and there was no quote for a front door, however promised to be received within 24hours - IN THE EMAIL.

It is now the 21st of January and I have not heard a single thing. It’s incredibly evident to me that Jean is unable to keep to timelines he promises, is pushy and does not listen to the customer. His lack of attention to detail does not fill me with confidence that this company is the right one for the job.

Upgrading your windows is incredibly costly and my experience with Hertford Glass has been nothing short of awful. I do not recommend, and it appears to be a pattern as per previous reviews.

Hertford Glass provided an Excellent Service and was responsive to all our requirements. I cannot thank them enough for the fantastic service.

Dan promptly answered any questions we had in person and via email. The door arrived in the time he specified.
Rhys fitted the door. He worked
cleanly and efficiently. Rhys was so helpful in explaining the locking system to me. I would definitely use Hertford glass again.

Very good window replacement and installation of additional window/bifold doors which we are very pleased with. A very easy company to deal with - Sean, Jake and Michael came up with creative solutions for the odd issues over the job.

I took a large brass mirror along for a quote to see if a replacement mirror could fit into the tricky brass surround. Hertford Glass did the job beautifully and quickly, after giving me what I considered a very good price indeed! Thanks to Ryan for the help lifting the item in and out of the car for me!

We were expecting to have to pay a lot of money for steamed up windows and a new set of back doors. But we had a fabulous man arrive and carry out our service and it looks amazing. We didn’t even need new back doors as he was able to replace the locks. Saved us so much money. And now we have lovely windows.

We had a new Composite Door fitted by Hertford Glass a few weeks ago.
We were very pleased with the whole process from ordering the front door to being kept up to date with each stage of the door being made,i to installation.
Adrian , Jan and Rhys who installed our door, were all very friendly, helpful and efficient members of staff..
We are looking to replace our windows in the near future and will definitely be using Hertford Glass.

I had Dan (who is the business owner) come to my house in early April to size up some windows I needed for a garden room. He told me he would send a quote within a couple of days and expected the windows to take a couple of weeks to be made.

Instead, I spent most of April and May trying to get Dan to provide me with the promised quote. When it did arrive (five weeks after his visit and after numerous chaser emails and calls), it was not in line with what I had requested and needed to be updated. It is now late June and that updated quote still hasn't arrived.

I have moved onto another supplier (Enfield Windows, for anyone who is looking for a reliable alternative), who have been highly responsive and are due to fit my windows within a month of my making contact with them. Dan and Hertford Glass take note - this is how customer service is supposed to work!

I would warn anyone considering using these cowboys to be wary. They make promise after promise with apparently no intention of keeping to their word. I am glad I found out before I ended up having to rely on any warranty they may be offering.

Great team at Hertford Glass, right through from our initial sales contact, André, to Rhys who carried out the installation, and Charlotte and Louisa who organised dates to fit round us. They exceeded our expectations and delivered an excellent service with a quality product. We are delighted with our new front door with flag windows which has transformed our hallway and received many compliments. We would not hesitate to use Hertford Glass again in future.
