Still hasnt paid me for the work i did for him after doing lates every single night without a choice.
And the one night i wanted to finish on time which we still didnt and did an hour and a half overtime, he went mental at me because i missed my train but didnt want to do any more overtime, and told me dont bother coming in and find your own way home. so i left his company and i did 3 days work that week and have messaged him asking for the money he owes me and he has just blanked me.
I didn’t do anything wrong but i left because the way i was mistreated and i deserve paying for the money im owed and work that i did. I always put in effort with him and the jobs and he was always very sarcastic and loved to laugh at me.
Im 18 years old and live on my own and need the money for essentials and to live which he knows. I have sent him multiple messages which he has completely ignored but is still posting so i know he has seen them.

We recently had our bathroom, stairs, and hallway refurbished by Corey, and the results are amazing – the work has completely modernised the look of our interior.

Corey worked independently and managed every aspect of the project, bringing my vision to life. He is highly adaptable, a great problem-solver, and clearly holds himself to very high standards. His attention to detail is outstanding, and it really shows in the finished result.

Corey has done our bathroom downstairs 2 years ago, and yesterday finished the boarding of our loft. The thing with Corey that you don’t always get, is fantastic housekeeping, I like the way my home is always left how he found it when working. He’s work is to the highest standard, and I trust him to work alone in my home. I always go to Corey for my renovations. Highly recommended

Corey did our downstairs kitchen and utility renovation in April 2025. He was extremely professional from the initial quote until the end result. He was clean, tidy, polite and worked to a very high standard. He has done an outstanding job and even discussed options that he felt would work better than the original kitchen design and created a more streamlined look. We are so happy with his work and would 100% recommend Corey to anyone! We will be using him again for any future home improvement projects.

Very good prices and a quick delivery

We had our bathroom completely redone/layout plumbing etc by Corey. During the project they were the cleanest and tidiest builders who have ever existed. Corey provided insight and advice on choices of materials that were advantageous to us. Attention to detail is second to none. People constantly give us complements on the finish. Would have him round to do any major work, he can do it all!

Had our main bathroom and downstairs cloakroom totally refitted and also a hot water tank fitted by Corey and his team to an amazing standard. He helped us with the design and choices throughout and even worked on a bank holiday to get it finished on time. We’re very happy with everything they did especially the tiling which is perfect in both rooms. Would definitely recommend and use again. Many thanks.

Just had our ensuite refurbished and we are over the moon with the end result; it’s been completed to an extremely high standard and really does have a luxury feel to it.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Corey & the team working on it. They were extremely friendly and trustworthy, with excellent communication throughout; from providing the quote, helping us to make the best decisions and completing the work. The place was always left spotless at the end of the days work too.

We have used Corey and his team at Herts And Essex Group twice over the last 4 years on two separate projects. 1st Being reconfiguration of the the whole ground floor marking 5 small rooms and an internal Garage in to a large kitchen/dinner, utility room and sitting room .
2nd reconfiguration on 1st floor with full renovation of 3 bedrooms all doors, skirting, architrave and wooden floor , 2 bathrooms and creation of a walk-in wardrobe .
I have three more in the pipeline with him.
He takes grate pride in his work which can be seen for the Finnish he achieves. He is excellent at coordinating all delivery’s and any external trades,

We have used Herts & Essex Group for several years now to pretty much refurb our whole house and the standard of their work is exemplary! Corey’s attention to detail is a credit to him and as a result all the bathrooms in our home, in addition to our new kitchen that he also fitted, are 1st class!
