Thanks Ming! Great service, amazing price 💯 recommend

Asked Herts Boilers to come and give me a second opinion on my boiler. Another heating company had condemned it the week before and they tried to sell me an expensive new boiler.

Ming identified that the boiler just needed the pressure adjusting and that it was fine.

Great service at a very reasonable price.

We were very impressed with Mr Ming's quick and helpful service when our boiler failed this morning. Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic service, can't recommend Ming at Herts Boilers highly enough. Called him at midday and he was able to come round that evening and fix my boiler (while the country was still in lockdown). Clearly knowledgeable and just a really nice guy.

The second time Ming has helped us out with the boiler. Both times the faults were fixed quickly and efficiently - reliable & honest - definite recommendation to friends and family.

Thank you so much to Ming for his very prompt visit and brilliant advice (extremely knowledgeable and honest) to say that we do not have to replace our current 20 year + boiler as it has still got some life left in it. He would be most happy to do repairs to it if need be in the future. I will definitely be contacting Ming in future and would recommend him to family and friends.

My wife was panicking over a strange loud noide sound from our boiler so we needed an engineer to come to have a look. It was Sunday so we were not sure if anyone would be available but Ming of Herts Boilers promised he woud call in the afternoon and he duly arrived on time. So fantastic! In addition Ming sorted out the issues in a highly efficient manner.

I found Herts Boilers on Google and decided to give them a call about a broken boiler. Ming said he was busy but would pop in in between jobs to have a look. He arrived as promised, had a look and said he could fix it there and then as he had a spare PCB in his van. Job done in a very professional manner. Price for part and labour charge were extremely reasonable. I'll be keeping his number for future use. I would recommend him highly to others. Well done Ming, you are a credit to your trade.

We needed a boiler engineer urgently as we were about to go on a long holiday and didn't want comeback to a cold house. I tried my usual engineer and found that he was on holiday for two weeks, tried several other companies and then tried Ming. He came round the next day which was a Saturday and quickly diagnosed and rectified the fault, which turned out to be a blocked pipe from the header tank.
We came back from holiday to find heating not working and called Ming who came out on the same day. He quickly found that there was no gas supply to our house. Called supply company Cadent and their engineer's found water in our supply pipe which was removed by suction pump. Ming excelled again.

Ming is the most honest tradesmen I’ve ever come across! A huge wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to meet. Goes the extra mile in his work to make sure of customer satisfaction! A real gem in the world of British Gas rip off salesman and plumbers!

Got home from a week working away to find my boiler broken and the house freezing.. I have some experience with heating so had an idea what the problem was. After calling a few people from check a trade - all telling me they could come after easter .. or in one case someone who just couldn't be bothered ..
I stumbled accross Ming .. I read the reviews so gave him a call .. he managed to fit me in on the same day and the problem was fixed very quickly .. Very reasonable price for labour and parts and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.. in fact I've already passed his details on to some local friends of mine.

Our boiler broke down yesterday afternoon (1 March). We have British Gas boiler cover but we couldn’t get through. Out of desperation we googled local heating engineers. Luckily we chose Ming. We phoned at about 5:30pm and he turned up at the promised time of 8pm. Ming fixed the problem within 10 minutes. It was a frozen condensation pipe (unsurprisingly). What a relief! Ming was brilliant and we recommend him to everyone. Thanks Ming!

Herts Boilers were a lifesaver during the snow and big freeze when our boiler broke down and we had no heating or hot water. We have boiler insurance and I was on hold for 3 hours and kept being cut off without getting through. In contrast Herts Boilers picked up the phone on my first call. The very nice man I spoke to got me to look at the error message on the boiler and told me it was probably our condensate pipe that had frozen over. He said that we could easily deal with it ourselves by pouring warm water over it and to call back if this didn't work.

We were able to resolve the problem and now have heating and hot water again in minus 4 temps today! Thank you so much for your advice, I will keep your details and will be recommending you to friends.

It's rare to find such a clever and reliable person to help with the boiler. Ming is that rare fellow. He made time for us on the day of the initial call to diagnose the problem. He had to come back once again and incredibly, the boiler that I was told to replace (by a less professional plumber) now works well. Ming has given it a thorough service and replaced the parts that had worn. Total cost was a fraction of what I had imagined and it has been working perfectly since his repair. He is polite and respectful; he leaves the place spotless and he is a pleasure to deal with! I could not recommend him more highly and certainly, I won't let anyone else near my boiler again. AAA+++

Honest, reliable, trustworthy. Having had 1 engineer no show then 1 turn up and disappear I had given up on getting the combi boiler fixed. Herts Boilers turned up as planned, quickly identified two issues, fixed the lesser fault for no charge and clearly priced up the need for and the charge for the return visit. Ming turned up as scheduled to fit the part. Friendly, knowledgable engineer, fixed everything with no mess, no confusion & confidence. Final charge remained as per amount agreed on first visit. No hesitation recommending this company.

It hard to find good workmen you can trust. Herts Boliers provided me with expert advise and got my system working quickly with the minimum of fuss and only did what was essential to fix the problem. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

My system would not run due to a low pressure warning. Ming cleaned the pump and system Advising me that I did not need to go to the expense of replacing the pump. They got the system running and saved me money.

My radiators get much hotter now and my water heats faster. Excellent work.
