Herts Swim Coach delivers performance swimming coaching across Hertfordshire and North London, working with ambitious swimmers who want to get measurably faster in the water. Based in Borehamwood, our coaches run sessions at pools across the region, including Bushey, Barnet, Edgware, Radlett, Elstree and Watford. We specialise in triathlon swim coaching — from sprint distance through to full Ironman — alongside competitive swimming coaching for club swimmers, juniors and masters athletes. Our stroke clinics cover all four strokes, individual medley, and starts, dives and turns, while one-to-one coaching, squad sessions and swim video analysis give every athlete a clear path to improvement. This is coaching, not beginner tuition. Our athletes include triathletes preparing for race day, age-group club swimmers chasing county and national times, open water swimmers building confidence and efficiency, and adult improvers who've hit a plateau and want expert technical input. Every programme is built around the individual: your goals, your race calendar, your training load. Sessions are structured, measurable and grounded in sound technique — because lasting speed comes from swimming better, not just swimming more. I started swimming last year and I was…

I started swimming last year and I was able to improve my breaststroke and see clear changes in my technique . I would definitely recommend to someone looking to improve their swimming as regardless of what level you are. Also offers video analysis of your stroke for certain lessons which is super helpful.

Excellent swim coaching with Brian

Swim coaching with Brian has hugely helped my swimming technique as well as enabled me to get back into swimming after swimming-related shoulder injuries. I now feel more confident and efficient in the water and am enjoying making further progress. Brian is a great coach and I always come away from sessions with a clear idea on areas to focus on in my training. I highly recommend!
