Great same day replacement of damaged screen on laptop for a very reasonable price. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and return!

My PC needed a CPU re-paste and cooler upgrade for an Intel I5 13th gen as the stock cooler was never satisfactory. The case was however tight as it is a semi portable smallish form factor. Chris did a great job moving or upgrading fans and installing an Arctic A34 ARGB. The combination of improved case ventilation and the A34 has the idle temp at home averaging 25C and during Gaming 50-52C peak compared to the old coolers 85C (my room thermostat is set at 18C so the cooler maintains 32-34C over ambient). Chris did this same day for me and I am very happy with the result.

Hex are the most trusted company in Edinburgh for the purchase and fixing of electronics. They are apple approved and trained technicians and always return repaired ipads and iphone as good as new. Their aftercare service is second to none. We use them regularly and are always impressed.

Highly recommend all at Hex for a friendly professional service which you can tell is genuine and honest. Listened to all my requirements and built me a fantastic pc at a good price. Will be using again.

Hex is the computer/phone shop down the road from me and I've been there on and off since they opened which must be about 10 years now. And they've been consistently helpful, whether or not I bought anything. However on this occasion Hex helped me out last minute in a situation where all my home systems had failed and I needed to get this document into my hands. I walked through the door of Hex at 5.35pm. And not only were they just as helpful, they stayed late to help me and to make it work, they did work for me which is just not part of what shops do. Their whole attitude was "let's make sure this doesn't fail for you." It could be because I am regular and I have known them years. But I don't think so. They are just those kind of people. Have been since they opened. It's not like we are friends and hang out. I know them as a customer. I'd never ask them to stay late or do what they helped me with. But I didn't have to. They just did it. That's who they are and I'm grateful.

Very friendly and kind help for an old lady. Will certainly use them if I need help in the future and will be very happy to recommend them.

My son had used Hex in the past and recommended them to me. In short, excellent service. They did diagnostics and told me what the repair would cost [not as expensive as I thought it would be] and completed repair. Great service and kept me informed at all times. Would have no hesitation in recommending them. Thanks for great job. [As an aside, it certainly doesn't say much for the service I received at another local so-called "specialist" who told me there was nothing they could do to fix my pc. By contrast, Hex fixed it without question in good time].

I live in Edinburgh, and i have used Hex now for several years, through many mobile phones I have had, and they saved many from accidents, disasters and glitches.
I commend the competence and effectiveness, but that is almost a given, what I want to add that struck me on every occasion i have used them, is their professional and personal courtesy, patience, and communication.
When something so personal and essential as phone goes wrong, there is an innate added anxiety and uneasiness connected with with this problems, totally different then when your shoes or something not as personal fails. I found that the care and patience in investigating and then explaining the faults, and generosity in trying everything to give you back your piece of equipment, that is also a piece of your life, is commendable.
In my last interaction with them, after my phone decided to take a plunge in the toiled, luckly empty, a series of problems developed in a chain. First the mute sound, then the screen with a shaking kind of Parkinson’s disease, and lastly developed a stubburnes not to be pass 3% while charging. That in the space of a month from the water damage.
With a costance and dedication that was beyond the call of duty, I just got my phone back saved and alive, as it was before the unfortunate dive. Thank you Hex ! You are what all professional services should aim at.
