Very bad experince with the company. Poor comunication. They did not deliver the services that they agreed.

My grandaughter's tutor thought he was God's gift to tutors. He would cancel at the last minute, leaving her to struggle with her assignment. He finally quit on us because I couldn't work my schedule around all of the times he wanted off. Hey Tutor advised I would have to contact him, as they owed me $360 in unused funds. The tutor told me that I would have to ask Hey Tutor. Their phone line gives a constant busy signal. I began to use GoPeer, which is $20 a visit and pay as you go. Much more user friendly. Hey Tutor continues to try to charge my account. I would not recommend them.

Do not make the same mistake I made.8 sessions for 440.00. They did not inform me that it's a reoccurring charge every month. Tudor was basically worthless. Spoke a gentleman named Zackary. Very arrogant person. Contact your attorney General in your state. It's a scam.

DONT DO IT!!!!!!!! Worst mistake i’ve ever made hireing this company they have tutors in other countrys tutoring you so you have to tutor after midnight. i could not understand their english and it was hard for me to understand them trying tutor me. THEY STOLE MY MONEY. i never gave them permision to take more money out of my bank account when my hours of tutor were low. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WIT THIS COMPANY. I WILL BE CALLING BBB ON THEM !!!!!!!!

Completely a scam. I stopped my service long time ago but they kept changing every month. I had to call bank every month to reverse the payment. The reason I got my money back because I told them that I was going to sue them

I just got off the phone with Hey Tutor. The call ended abruptly. I spoke with a gentleman, who assured me he had a tutor that had experience in teaching nursing students. When I asked about the experience there was no information as to whether they were current with the up-to-date information needed to pass nursing school. He basically just told me yes they had tutors. The call was ackward. He called me from a phone that sounded like he was on the go and couldnt even hear him. It just didnt feel comfortable. It was completely unprofessional. I felt he had no knowledge of what i needed and just wanted my money. I told him i didnt feel comfortable paying at this point. He hung up on me.

We called hey tutor and they assured us they will match my daughter and never did. We spent $650 dollars and never got a tutor. When asked about a refund they said you have to be unsuccessfuly matched with two tutors for a refund. I had my bank reverse the charges. The company lied and produced false documents as if we used their service. My bank reverse the charges back to Hey Tutor. I disputed the charges again. Ultimately l lost. They kept the money and l got nothing. This company is a scam. Buyers beware

This company is a scam they did not tell me it was a subscription when I called them they asked me if I needed one session or multiple I told them one I put my card there after the one session I never went back to the website they charged my card for 2 months and now they don’t want to refund me my money even though I did not use the service😡

We have been matched with two tutors so far and neither tutor has answered our response abs HEY Tutor is not supporting. I hope this isn’t a scam because they already have our $. Please let me know it’s not a scam!! Thank You

HeyTutor is a FRAUD
HeyTutor literally stole $900 from me. Everything herein is in writing from both parties and available at the email address below. A "student" hired me to complete a business project for them which we did. The invoice was $1500 which they agreed to pay. The party had $600 with HeyTutor which they forwarded to me and then charged her credit card $900 plus a service fee. HeyTutor emailed me that the $1500 was forthcoming but subsequently wrote that the client had only agreed to pay $600 and they had no answer for the other $900. It wasn't until I sued the "student," something they obviously did not anticipate, did both parties learn that HeyTutor had duped both of us. I emailed the owner offering him the benefit of the doubt if he wired me the $900 and court filing fees. Not only did I not hear back from him but I did receive an email justifying their keeping my money. Money that they explicitly told the student was going to me. Save your time and money. Go to an official source. I would recommend Kaplan.

Save your money. This is a very poorly run business that waste peoples time. They unsuccessfully matched me with 3 tutors with absolutely no knowledge of my subject. When I asked for a refund they refused and the staff member Patrick Coher was extremely rude. Once again, save your money.

My son was promised in person tutoring. They took our money and we never received in person tutoring. My son had 2 sessions with an inept tutor. We requested a new tutor. A new contact was given who was never available and ended up ghosting my son. Now, no one will return our calls or email requests for a refund. This is a scam. Don't fall for it.

this is a legit website. I mean, the quality of the tutors is actually quite good. I am here
to share my experience. At first, I resisted hiring a tutor through a website. But when I
finally did, it turned out to be a good decision that I have made. I am satisfied with the
skills they possess and the way they teach.

Tutors usually quote a high price these days but not at hey tutor. I came across this amazing website that are providing personal tutors at an affordable price. So now I am stress-free and taking my classes every day.

I was facing difficulty while looking for a maths teacher in my surroundings. Trust me, and I tried really hard to find one. But in the end, I came across this website and chose a maths tutor for myself to help me with my studies. And my grades are improving. Thanks to him!

I aced my biology final!!! Thank you Bhavneet and heytutor! I called them about a month ago because I needed help with Biology. All of my classes our online and it's been hard to learn. Bhavneet was THE BEST tutor I've ever worked with. I met with her the next day and she broke down all the topics and made them much more simple.

Horrible experience.

DO NOT USE HEY TUTOR. THIS IS A SCAM!! They will take your money and promise if you don't find the tutors up to standards they will refund you but this is a TOTAL LIE. THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOU UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. There is no vetting process for tutors, they will hire anyone regardless of their ability to teach or not. Its shameful how they run this company especially given the fact that its a world wide pandemic. They will steal your money!

Failed to match me with a tutor capable of teaching me the subject material. Granted they were knowledgeable in it but could not provide me a better understanding. Went through 5+ tutors all could not understand the complexity of what I was working with... masters level course in statistics. Offered a refund to me and still have $800 of mine that they say has “expired” and no longer eligible for refund.
