Do not buy - false advertising - glasses did not work for me - would not refund
In summary: the company claimed to offer a "60 day money back guarantee". The night driving glasses did not work for me (see details below). When I asked to return the items for a full refund, they only offered me a 30% refund. They also stopped responding to my emails.
I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge.
I placed order #G44112 on May 10, 2026. I ordered 2 sets of "HiLense Nighttime Driving Glasses x 2" (4 pairs total) and a pair of HiLense Clip-On for Prescription Glasses. The items costed $79.90 with another $3.99 shipping, no tax.
The Nighttime driving glasses were advertised to eliminate glare at night from LED headlights. On their web site, they claim that "HiLense targets the exact blue-white wavelengths that modern screens and LEDs throw off (5000K and up)."
The glasses appeared to be good quality yellow driving glasses.
However, they did NOT soften the glare from oncoming LED headlights. Honestly, it seemed to make them worse.
When I contacted the company customer support via email to request a full refund, initially they only offered me a 10% refund.
When I requested a full refund a second time, they raised the offer to a 30% refund.
When I told them I still wanted a full refund, they stopped responding to my emails.
The company does NOT offer a phone number to help resolve customer service issues. They only offer customer support through email.
I paid for my original order through PayPal. It was very difficult to find this transaction later. The credit card charge was from this:
PAYPAL *LOEVCOMMERC LOEVC
The vendor name on the PayPal credit card charge (*LOEVCOMMERC and LOEVC) had nothing to do with the vendor name (HiLense) or the vendor web site (hi-lense.com). That makes it difficult for consumers to find the original charge to their credit card, so they could dispute it.
I contacted my credit company to dispute the charge.
