Great pins for printmakers-better than Ternes Burton!
Friendly and prompt replies to emails and super fast dispatched orders.
I’m absolutely delighted to have discovered Hickman Design while searching for Ternes Burton metal pins, which are no longer made. (In the vain hope someone had some) The Hickman Design pins are superb and I believe are a better design and the work with the Ternes Burton tabs. They can also be screwed onto a board which is great for hand printers. Highly recommend them.

Hickman metal Registration Pins
Hickman metal Registration Pins, excellent robust registration pins, delivered swiftly. They work really well and hickmandesign.co.uk also show a step by step process on their website on how to use them both fixed (drilled/screwed) as well as taped which I found incredibly helpful. Would definitely recommend and love the fact they are metal and not plastic.

Offers don't add up.
Would have given 5 stars. They got my email details with a 5% offer, but the offer didn't add onto a better one of 8% they already had. It also took me under the free postage so was worthless anyway.
Other than that all good thanks.

Thanks for your feedback!
You're absolutely right – offers don’t stack. We regularly run monthly sales on specific ranges or sitewide, and these are often better than the standard 5% discount. The 5% code is there to be used any time when sales aren’t running, so it’s a handy fallback that never expires.
While it might not have applied in this case, it’s still a useful perk to have, and we’d hope it’s seen as a bonus rather than a drawback. Hopefully we’ll see you again soon – and next time, with a discount that suits your basket better!
Thanks again for the order and the review.

Awagami paper is wonderful but the postal packaging isn't.
Awagami paper is immaculate and I'm grateful to have been able to get hold of some through Hickman Design when it seemed to be out of stock everywhere else. The company were attentive and replied to my enquiry really quickly. I hate giving negative feedback but because the paper was in a standard cardboard envelope, the delivery person decided to bend it to get it through my letter box and consequently, every page was buckled which was disapointing : (

Thank you so much for your review about the Awagami paper and for taking the time to leave this review.
We’re really glad we could help you get hold of it when it was hard to find elsewhere, and it’s great to hear our team were responsive. That said, we're genuinely sorry to hear the paper was damaged in transit — it's incredibly frustrating for us too when Royal Mail mishandles a package, especially with such delicate materials.
Had we known, we would have been more than happy to replace the item straight away. We’d still be glad to do so — once we have fresh stock, please email us at info@hickmandesign.co.uk with your order details and any photos of the damage. We insure our deliveries so we can claim for incidents like this and get a new set sent out to you as soon as possible.
Thanks again for your support — and sorry again that the experience wasn’t perfect this time.
