I’ve been using High5 gels for many years and love them.
However, the new packaging is awful. The plastic is very rigid and it’s difficult to ‘feel’ where the gel is. Also, the tab at the top gets in the way when you’re trying to get the gel into your mouth.
The only benefit is that the tab doesn’t come off and cause unnecessary littering.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Excellent customer service, could not recommend enough. I've been using HIGH5 to train for my current races.

Purchased gels over a long period of time, new packaging is awful , very poor product not designed for easy application during running, if packaging doesn’t revert back won’t be buying again 🤬

Love the gels themselves, they don't have that funny spongey texture other gels have, but hate the new packaging. Harder to open and more difficult to consume the gel as the packaging has been made thicker and it sticks in to your mouth. It also doesn't come out the sachet as smoothly.
I buy them regular for hiking and the gym as I'm a type 1 diabetic but now looking for an alternative

I have used high5 gels and energy drink for years and been very impressed. The new packaging on the gels is terrible. The gels are much more bulky, difficult to open and the stay attached tag makes it very difficult to comfortably consume the product, especially if you are moving or it is extreme weather. Please revert back to the original packaging.

I ordered a run pack a while back. Due to an error with my order it wasn't dispatched, however, when I followed up it was rectified and dispatched immediately. Customer Service was fast and helpful.
In regards to the products I'm not impressed - the energy gels seem to be packets of air (I would hazard a guess that out of 66g - 22g would be actual product). However, didn't mind the electrolyte tablets.

The juice is fantastic for Diabetic hypos.
BUT
The NEW packaging is AWFUL. You ingest air first and it’s a struggle to get the glucose out.
This new packaging is absolutely dreadful. And it’s very hard to open too. I wish they had left the old one alone. It was user friendly.

I use these to get me out of tricky situations as a type 1 diabetic. The gels themselves work amazingly and have saved me on many occasions. However the new packaging has split 3 times at the bottom, which hasn't happened before the change. The last time was in a reausturant which covered me! Please go back to the old packets!!

These were great for an energy boost when you needed it. The gel works superfast to get you going again!
WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO THE PACKAGING???
The new and improved version has the no lose tare off tops, unfortunately now the very small opening means you have the sucking power of a small tornado to get the gel out!
I have nearly come a cropper a couple of times on the bike now, just trying to get any of the gel into my mouth safely!
How to kill a very good product in one easy design fault! Didn't any one test this before the change??
I'll be looking for another product that is easier to open and use!

First time that I have purchased gels through HIGH5 but I would highly recommend. The customer service that I received was outstanding. The Customer Service Coordinator that I was in communication with was helpful, considerate and supportive.
The gel themselves are easily absorbed and effective.
