Swaledale Ewe Sheep Willow Sculpture Reviews

With its distinctive round, wide horns, this sheep is named after the Yorkshire valley of Swaledale - the most northerly dales of the Yorkshire Dales. Native to the UK, this ewe sheep will add a touch of countryside charm to your garden or farmyard. Pair with the Swaledale lamb for a beautiful combination. These sculptures are hand-crafted by talented artist Emma Stothard, who was able to start up her business with a loan from The Prince’s Trust. She was invited by His Majesty The King to exhibit her willow sculptures, including this Swaledale ewe, on the Orchard Lawns at Highgrove. Sculpted from British willow, interwoven with wire and bronze wire and shaped around a steel armature, the contrasting willow colours in these sculptures create form and definition. Each sculpture is finished with a coating of linseed oil and turpentine solution to preserve and protect it. Please note: This willow sculpture is bespoke and made to order
