Bought 2 of the x9.
One for a 2014 captiva 2.2 diesel turbo…..WOW 😱 what a difference.
And one for a 2019 MG3……WOW 😱 a huge difference. Both vehicles run a lot better!!!!!

I was so sceptical having been in other rigs that had pedal commander. But the pedal delay really started getting to me in my 2007 Jeep Wrangler with ripp supercharger. I've compared Amazon 9 drive reviews and too many had problems after 6m to 2 years. I chose the X5 hikeit after watching jk gear and gadgets review. The x9 seemed unnecessary for me because I know exactly how I want a pedal to feel at all times. Auto learning would defeat that precision I want.

After driving around I found sport mode between 0 and 5 is my preferred sweet spot for my supercharged setup. I'm a believer now. I had cold feet ordering it I almost wanted to cancel. I'm glad I didn't! It was worth it. I'm happy.

When I bought this module, I said I will give it a try and to my surprise I like it more than what I thought.

I started the first week by driving the EC-9A mode, which it creates more lag in the pedal. Average MPG went from 19.7 to 20.1. Basically, the same.

Second week I tried AU-A mode, which I think I am going to keep.

Before I would have to step all the way to the bottom and waiting for the vehicle to accelerate, now is just an instantaneous reaction. The other day I was in front of a red-light camera traffic light, and I do think that thanks I have hike it, in a fraction of a second, I was accelerating and passing the orange light, otherwise I would have not made it.

I’ve had the device for 2 weeks already and I have to say that if you are able to control this sensitive gas pedal, you are going to love it. I have a Jeep Rubicon 2d 8s V6 and I don’t see more consumption on gas, unless you are pushing the gas pedal very hard all the time. I feel like I am not driving a slow car anymore. The last tank I had an average MPG of 19.5.

Probably for off-road the factory setting is the best OFF.A mode on hike it.

I bought 2 of these--19 RAM 5.7 1500, 19 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. World of difference in the throttle response. The Wrangler is quite touchy and haven't dialed that in yet, its my wife's so I don't get much time with it. The RAM is dialed in to where I like it so I leave it alone. I drive 50 miles 1 way to work--couple small towns to go through and dodge the Amish and I have gotten as good as 26 mpg. Maintains around 24 mpg. Throttle response is quick and to the point, no more waiting for it to go. Very happy with it. Would like to put one on my 2006 Trailblazer but apparently they don't make one for that.

Purchased this for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler JKU hoping it would improve the sluggish acceleration. This product did exactly what I was hoping for and was very surprised on just how much it improved the taking off process. We all know that sluggish feeling you get while taking off in a Jeep especially after adding mods and weight to it. No more smashing the gas pedal to get up to speed. Many different settings for you to choose from to achieve the response your looking for. I'm happy with the Auto feature and the Sport set at #5. There are higher settings but they are a little much for me and what I need for daily driving but are there at the touch of a button if needed! Great product and highly recommend to anyone looking for improved throttle response. Install was definitely a struggle but that is Mopars engineers fault for having the throttle plug tucked into an incredibly small tight area up under the dash. Patience and time is your friend! Also adhesive backing on the controller could be a bit stickier to adhere to the textured plastic dash trim but I applied light pressure with a wooden rod between the seat and the controller making sure to wrap the end contacting the controller with a rag so to not damage it and adjusting the seat to be sure not too much pressure was applied to the controller screen but just enough to hold it snug over night and that seems to have worked well. Over all I couldn't be happier with the purchase of this product and has given my Jeep new life making it more enjoyable to drive! Nothing better out there for the money!

I have just fitted a Hikeit X9 to a new 2021 Izuzu MUX. Wow it turns a good 4wd into a great one. The difference is truly amazing. It is the best couple hundred of dollars that you will ever spend. Fitting was simple too.

And holy crap what a difference!
So glad I got one, even if you don’t really want all the power it’s great for just removing the bit of throttle lag the triton has on take off.

Got the X9's for my Cruze and Wrangler. Mostly for the Cruze. That one was 5 minutes to put in. Man it can be set to rocket you out of the hole. But I got it so it not so doggie from the stop sign. Still playing with the settings. Now the Wrangler....pain in the...... She has Alpine stereo and the amp sits over the peddle and plug. Pain but got It in. That too playing with settings. Can make a rocket too. Nice items I bought. Thanks.

Everything went great! Very easy to install, no chance of messing it up! Took a couple of minutes and now going to try out the different modes on the road after work today! I drove to work with the setting on Auto Mode and could tell there was a big difference in acceleration response, quick response with very little pedal pressure! Great!

Works well in both vehicles.
I have the X9 on my Toyota Tundra to smooth out the touchy pedal.
Works well for that!
Also have one in my VW Golf Alltrack which is turbo swapped and tuned. Perfect for fun responsive every day driving.

I had been thinking about purchasing a throttle controller for a long time and I'm glad I went with the Hikeit X9. Installation is super simple and it instantly got rid of the annoying pedal lag. The unit itself is nice and compact and quite thin. This allowed me to stealthily mount it inside the tiny ash tray compartment in my center console. I happened to purchase my X9 shortly before a promotion so I reached out to customer service to see about getting the difference refunded. Matt quickly processed the refund which allowed me to take advantage of the promotion price. Great product and great customer service!

What a great product! Ordered and installed this for my Chevrolet Colorado truck 6 cylinder and wow what a difference it has made. It was a very easy install and has dramatically improved accelerator response. Makes my sluggish truck feel like a sports car. I highly recommend this for those wanting a faster pick-up (no pun intended!) from a dead stop. Also when on the highway, it helps the trans shift quicker. I’ve tried all modes and currently have it on Auto. I highly recommend this to improve vehicle performance for under $200.

Well worth the money. Will not make your car actually faster or quicker, but the throttle response will make it feel like its faster. Definitely woke up my 3.8l wrangler (these things are turtles). Put it on auto, let it decide your best setting, and profit!! Mpg will not be affected negatively unless you floor it everywhere you go. Easily the best "mod" under $200! 5 of 5 stars. Will buy again.

After shopping around and dealing with the less desirable,arrogant competitor I’m glad I went with the Hike-it.
Have had it in my vehicle for 2-3yrs now without a single issue.
Funny thing was I hardly noticed the difference when I got the vehicle dyno tuned.

An excellent product from an awesome company. I have installed the HIKE IT on both my Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator. It has totally transformed both vehicles. The throttle response is greatly improved, and the install is so easy.
