Ordered a big order as an emergency due to power cut in our elderly housing accommodation all our clients couldn’t have food so we put through an order for them all which Hiks provided a fast and easy service at such short notice!!!
Only to get there and they gave us it all for free which we didn’t expect we are so thankful for this offered to pay but they wouldn’t take it
We honestly can’t thank you enough !
all our residents have nice warm meals tonight in their stomachs all thanks to you we always attend this fish shop as it’s the best food but honestly the staff make it thankyou so much definitely recommend and will be back soon !!!

Great board, love it!

Seemed to be good value. We bought two 10'6", a few months apart. On the second, the valve is depressed by connecting the hose, so it is impossible to pump up the board and disconnect the hose without losing air.
Customer service ignore emails and voicemail.

First one was fine. Interesting bit, suggesting a supply chain issue, is that the skegs are not interchangeable. "Exactly the same model" of SUP was ordered, but the skeg of one is too large for the other. Not a problem, but perhaps a(nother) sign of inconsistency.

Not Fit for Purpose – Very Disappointed with HIKS SUP Boards

I spent £360+ on a HIKS SUP board, and it ruined two holidays. The first board exploded on initial inflation. HIKS sent a replacement, but the new board also exploded during its first use on the water.

I ended up buying a cheaper SUP from Decathlon, and it worked perfectly under the same conditions. For the price, HIKS's quality is unacceptable. I’m very disappointed and expected much better. Avoid this brand!

I purchased a paddle board just over 2 years ago for my then 10 year old daughter. Been used around 6 times on rivers.
Went to use 3 days ago, pumped it up, then 10 minutes later the side of the board exploded, you can clearly see the glue had failed, looking at the previous reviews this is not the first time.

I contacted HIKS and explained what had happened, their response is basically don’t bother us your board is out of warranty so go away and leave us alone.
No offer of a replacement due to product failure. Excellent customer service I thought.

My board is a Goosehill that feels much better quality and comes with 3 year warranty.

My advice is stay well clear of HIKS as they literally wash their hands once the 12 months is up and I see on other reviews that even within the 12 months they are very limited with helping.

For all you paddle boarders out there enjoy and if you do have a HIKS paddle board, don’t use it with out a life jacket, you don’t want to be any distance from land and the side of yours explodes like my daughters did.

Ordered 2 paddleboards - one arrived with a faulty pump (as seems to be the case with most peoples orders on here!) and the carry bag was useless as the bag arrived with a ripped strap.

What made it worse was that I actually managed to get through to their customer service people three times and each time was promised a new bag and pump - after months and months of waiting, I've just given up and will shop elsewhere in the future.

This is actually the first negative review I think I've ever left, but I think after three promises to sort and still no result, it's justified. Prices for the boards was great and the boards themselves are great too - just hope there's nothing wrong with them when you order, otherwise you're out of luck.

Paddle board arrived with a faulty pump and a broken paddle. Attempted ringing many times calls go to divert. Eventually got a call back 17/08/24 but still waiting for the promised new pump and new paddle to arrive. Have a paddle board I’m unable to use

Just sent back a 2nd board with the same issues of seals coming away, to be told they are only offering 30% refund!
The boards is still under warranty. They’ve taken weeks to even answer my email and I’m insulted that this is what they came back with.
Always trusted their customer service but never again.Next step is trading standards I’m afraid

Absolutely awful service
Ordered a pump which turned up with the adapter on the wrong end and it cannot be removed
Weeks of emails I finally get through on the phone and a new pipe sent, NO ADAPTER AS PROMISED
Weeks more of emails fobbing me off that someone will be in touch or it’s been sent and still no adapter
The phone line now never gets answered!
This was ordered on 21/6/23 and is useless to me without the adapter

You’re happy to take peoples money yet cannot treat customers like this

Ordered 2 boards. on opening first one the nonslip part wasn’t glued correctly so was stuck up at one end. We then went out on the water with the second board but after 1/2 mile down the river the air valve started to leak. I have now been waiting over a week for both boards to be collected but apparently due to high volume of returns they cannot give any timescale for collection! Or refund my money

I purchased a paddleboard from Hiks. Super excited to used it, unfortunately it exploded on the beach! I emailed explaining the situation and the board was replaced. I started using my new board only this time it split at the seams. The company will not replace and they offered a small/ partial refund.

Don’t purchase from Hiks, boards are not fit for purpose.

My hiks paddleboard went bang and had blown at the seams, i had only used it twice though i had purchased it 18 months ago, after explaining what had happened hiks have agreed to send me a new one free of charge, i do have photos of the irreparable board and evidence
of where we were and the temperature on the day it happened and offered to send the damaged board back to them, luckily they trusted me. Excellent customer service

I don’t usually leave reviews and I have only just received my board today. Other than opening it and having look it’s still in the box. I suffer mentally with swimming due to an accident. And I had expressed my concerns about my this over email when organising a life jacket. I ordered one of theirs. I ordered it in the wrong size. They helped me massively and made it extremely clear how important water safety is and how much it means to them. They have refunded me for the life jacket in the same hour it arrived. And they have told me to keep it as a courtesy. They don’t deserve me to keep it as they have done nothing wrong. I think how they have dealt with everything has been outstanding. I am so so happy I bought from them. Best customer service ever.

Don't trust a Hiks paddleboard - we have had two - they both split at the seams and the riders had to be rescued out at sea. One board was only used on the water for 10 mins before it exploded. Unsafe, untrustworthy - I would purchase elsewhere. Very poor products.

Bought a SUP last summer 11ft 6 . I thought the quality of the build looked a little off. Ised the board about 6 times just got it out for the summer and it’s leaking . £400 wasted. Buy a goosehill much better quality and cheaper.

Ordered a pump 2 weeks ago now. Money gone from my account. Have emailed twice and no answers. Cannot understand how it takes so long to find out what has happened and rectify it.

Bought hiks 12v sup pump, only used a handful of times, just over a year old the seal went on the piston, hiks not interested in helping me. Wouldn’t buy another and wouldn’t recommend

Really good customer service, some of the best I've came across. I've had replies to emails on weekends and issues resolved at no cost to myself. Recommend them 100%
