Doubletree Bristol North,multiple rooms…

Doubletree Bristol North,multiple rooms booked. Gabrielle Korte who arranged our group booking was efficient, professional and friendly.
She went above and beyond to arrange rooms for guests attending my daughters wedding.
They all enjoyed their stay, they said that rooms were clean, comfortable and it is in a good location and amenities were great.

HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE PLACE….don’t stay here. So I checked in this morning 9/9/24 about 11am….I dropped my bags off at my room and quickly headed out to class. When I came back to my room after class, i noticed my BATHROOM WAS DIRTY. there was hair all over the walls and in the bathtub. The wall has food splattered all on it, the chair has dried tomato sauce on it, ants crawling up the walls and on the desk. I called the
Front desk spoke with Corrine, as per Corrine came downstairs and she will switch my room. I gathered my belongings and went to the front desk….now. Corrine told me there’s no rooms, I asked to speak to a supervisor who is Courtney Lugg but Courtney refused to speak with me. I asked Corrine for the contact information for the general manager or director, her boss…. As per Corrine she is on maternity leave then I asked for an email or card she said I don’t have it, you have to speak with Courtney or call Hilton. So basically I am suppose to sleep in a filthy dirty, nasty room smh. As per Corrine it’s not her problem. This is terrible customer service from the manager down to the front desk employee. Just disgusting, don’t stay here. I called Hilton to open an investigation because this is unacceptable. Corrine came to spot clean but there’s still good on the walls and ants crawling on the desk and walls. I have my suitcase near the door. This isn’t right, I shouldn’t have to deal with this.

We had our wedding at the Liverpool…

We had our wedding at the Liverpool branch a couple of weeks ago and they basically told us we would get a complimentary room on the night of the wedding. After our wedding, they refused to honour their part of the agreement and asked us to leave. Throughout the wedding planning process, they made everything so hard and difficult. It wasn’t the easiest working with them. Their services is below standard, everything we asked if we could get, they refused. We regret having our weddding at their hotel. I advise everyone planning a wedding to run away from them. They will basically pitch something to you so you can have your wedding at their hotel, when you accept their deal, they go ahead, prepare a contract and intentionally and deceitfully not include everything they told you about in the initial proposal. They missold to us and wouldn’t take accountability. Do business with them at your own risk!!!!

Superb stay at Leeds Double Tree

Staying at the Leeds Double Tree. Gorgeous canal side setting and close to the city and trains. The service was superb and the front of house staff so welcoming. The breakfast - the chef’s omelet was one of the best I’ve had and a very tidy buffet if that’s what you want. Such nice staff - had great service from Angie and team in the breakfast room. Saw other customers also enjoying the service. Definitely recommend as a place to stay if in Leeds.

Very enjoyable stay at the Hilton

We welcomed at the front desk by a very friendly reception, lady called Alma’s. We were able to check in early as we arrived earlier than planned. Our room was ready. We arrived to celebrate my husbands birthday. Alma’s very kindly upgraded our room. We were very happy with the room and the facilities. Suhana and Almas were both very helpful and friendly. We throughly enjoyed our stay. We were given the complimentary double tree cookies which we really enjoyed after our long journey to Hounslow.

Manchester Airport.

I really think the double tree brand drags Hilton's name through the dirt. I stayed at the Manchester Airport branch for 9 days on a training course, and it wasn't the greatest experience. This is by fair the noisiest hotel I've stayed in, with doors banging all night long. The staff were ok, especially Michelle on the evening team.
If we have another course booked in this hotel, I will choose another hotel to stay in.

Would have been a great review but…

At Doubletree HILTON West End...Would have been a great review but breakfast buffet was ruined by Mike the Chef who told us to leave for too many visits to the Buffet Table. He said "hotel cannot make money if you come up and eat our breakfast. "Get out". So we had to leave. We kept coming up for the pancakes hoping someone would fix the machine. No one did, but he spotted us coming up too many times so said we were only allowed one trip to the buffet table, and he saw us take three, so OUT ! Argh ! So angry. What a rude man !!! I will wait for him to retire before I ever go back to a Hilton. Can you get PTSD from a rude chef? Ruined the whole vacation experience. Never again. Now I cant wait to check out.

Stayed at Hilton double tree in…

Stayed at Hilton double tree in Brighton.
The hotel room was dirty. Found the previous peoples makeup in a drawer. The phone didn't work at all, and they left the last peoples toilet paper which was only half full in our bathroom. At 2 am it ran out, and we couldn't even call down to the lobby as the phone was broken. The swimming pool was a disaster. It is dirty and there was nowhere to sit. It was extremely busy. The spa was fully booked. I had come to the Hilton with the intention of using the spa and pool, and both were a disgrace. Would not recommend at all!

Terrible service

Terrible service. A few days earlier I had made a reservation with this hotel. however, during check-in I was refused because the name on my ID card did not match the name on the reservation. I explained to them that it is an abbreviation of my full name, and showed them the reservation confirmation I received by email. yet they declined my reservation and told me that the hotel is fully booked for the day. of course this was very inconvenient for us because we had to find a new hotel last minute. terrible service and unkind employee behind the counter.

I made a booking through Booking.com…

I made a booking through Booking.com and it clearly stated payment to be made on arrival.
2.5 hours later I cancelled booking on phone to DoubleTree by Hilton and emailed yet they still took payment.
I am disgusted with their dishonesty and they refuse to return payment.
I would suggest not to use them as dishonest.

Total disregard for a disabled elderly lady.

t’s is the hottest day ever in the UK. I’ve just driven my 89 year old mother 3 hours to go to a family funeral. My mother needs to use a wheeled walker to get about, has a heart condition and really struggles with the heat.

Therefore when booking a hotel I looked for one that had air conditioning.  Pretty clear on the site I would say. But still. I phoned anyway to check and confirm.

I also asked for a room near reception / on ground floor. I got an email to confirm that (2nd photo).

We get to the hotel and:

(a) the room is on the on the 1st floor, and even for an able bodied person is 2 or 3 minutes walk (room 131). Not so quick for an octogenarian with a  walker. Thank god I had put the wheelchair in the boot against my proud mother’s wishes.

(b) the room does not have air conditioning. Wonderful. I show the lady at reception the hotel profile on booking.com which pretty clearly says facilities include air conditioning. She accepts and admits that it does say that. But apparently it’s not “all rooms”. So that’s ok and not at all misleading is it.

We complain. There are no rooms left with air conditioning. Our room is still a long walk from reception.

They do not even have a fan they can give us. Attitude of “sorry there’s nothing we can do”

But you know what. A lovely elderly gentleman who is staying here over hears us and says he has a spare small fan in his room that he can lend us and goes and gets it.

I am also told we are expected to still pay full rate.

Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a suitable alternative within 40 miles to stay at. So we are stuck here.

So. We go to the lift. Guess what. It’s out of order. You really couldn’t make it up. So we wait around whilst the duty manager tries to find a key to a cupboard to get it working again. She cannot find the key to the cupboard. But don’t worry. There’s even longer walk to the hotel.

I’m waiting to see if we get an appropriate response. I do not expect to pay the full amount. Over to the hotel. And if they fail to act will raise as a dispute with the card company as quite simply we have not been provided with the advertised and promIsed facilities.

Right time for a nice shower. Hmmm. Not so nice. Filthy shower tray. Lovely. That’s appealing for a purportedly luxury hotel.

Utterly disgraceful. But hey. We got a free cookie because it’s a Doubletree Hilton. That makes up for it right? One of the worse hotel experiences I can recall and can categorically say will never stay at this chain again.

Far from good.

I stay here last night. Tiny room, room service £21 for a pizza (no thanks). At 0700hrs, 0728hrs and 0751hrs I tried to call reception to get shuttle bus times and got no reply. When I arrived at reception I was informed that they were too busy to answer. I am a HHonors Diamond member but would not choose this hotel again. Poor service, poor room, poor bed, overpriced services.
