The wors experience anyone can get from a hotel
I stayed for two weeks in a business trip at the Hilton Double Tree Hotel in Yerevan, Armenia. I am a member of Hilton Honor for many years. This was the worst experience a customer can experience. I discovered that a large amount of money and jewelry were not in my safe during my stay. The police came to the hotel a couple of times, interviewed me. Also, the prosecution office started an investigation, and I had to go to their office for the investigation. The hotel mangement conducted its own investigation too. Five staff including the Head Manager interviewed me, even recorded the interview and the report distorted the facts I presented during the interview. I felt very intimidated during the interview from the hotel much more than I felt during investigation conducted by police and the investigator. Their behavior was very unethical and arrogant. I exchanged several emails with them. I waited for months to hear from the investigation in order to file a complaint with Hilton. After several attempts to get a result of the investigation, I decided to submit an appeal with Hilton. I wrote to the Hilton guest correspondence email account for an appeal office email to no avail. They kept telling me to write to the Double Tree Hotel in Yerevan even though I explained to them that I have exhausted that venue. I did some research online and found an email for the Hilton Executive Escalations. Surprisingly, they responded that they could not review the case since the time for appeal has passed. I asked for an exception since I was hoping to hear from the investigation office in Armenia, but they refused to look at my case. Too bad for such a big corporation. I am speechless of the outcome of such unfortunate experience and the lack of will, unprofessionalism, lack of ethics and incompetence of Hilton staff. Anyone can suggest other venues than a court case? Thank you!
The only problem that I’ve been having…
The only problem that I’ve been having I don’t know it’s at the Marriott the Hilton, the Holiday Inn. I don’t care where I was here a day ago and my legs were itching so bad when I woke up I couldn’t believe it. I had to soak my legs everywhere I go how do you get to the bottom of something like this of the type of ignorance? I’m confused
Air conditioning broken apparently
Room upgrade put us on top floor of Double Trees Hilton in Ealing. No air conditioning and a broken lift meaning a very long walk.
Room in poor condition and dirty. Previous occupants watch found in the shower so don't believe that was even cleaned.
Poor response to query about air conditioning and subsequently a bad night's sleep.
Hilton's Sham Price Match Guarantee
Hilton's price match guarantee is a complete scam. I had to fill out a form that didn't ask for any screenshots or proof, which was very suspicious and told me that they didn't care about the policy. I sent three different price comparisons for the same room, same dates, same hotel and was denied four times, even though the competitor site was at least $25 dollars less. The reasons were pathetic and included time of payment, cancellation policies, that they "couldn't find" the rate I showed them and more. Even when I matched every denial with an identical situation they found a way to deny it. Fraudulent and deceptive.
San Francisco Airport Bayfront Hotel and Parking…
This review is for San Francisco Airport hotel. They had add stating part, fly, sleep option to 'click here." It took me to Hilton site with option to state dates and how I would like to pay, which I selected 30,000 honors points and STILL HAD TO PAY $100 as well, but I did. Come to find out, it's for the room, only, which I could have purchased third party for about $140! I had to pay additional $105 for their airport parking as I had no choice. So, I paid $105 for parking, $106 for room AND 30,000 points, for a normal room that's about $200 for package I've paid before. it's a bait-and-switch issue or simply miscommunicated add on their site, which Hilton takes blame for but doesn't credit back anything. I'm done staying there, and just starting to share about this experience moving forward in manuscripts and teachings to inform about this trash operation. A real beauty are all members involved at the hotel, worthlessly, such as Ryan Edwards; Teena Hernandez; Ederson Faleiro De Paula; and John
Kellites.
Hilton Honors is WORST, bar none!
Hilton Honors is the worst of the worst! The program is grounded in unfair and deceptive practices. Their customer service is mediocre to non-existent. HH changes policies and terms on the fly to the detreiment of its customers. The HH program reeks of dodgy practices and is a massive detriment to the Hilton brand.

Awful Experience- Taking Business Elsewhere
Wish I could give this negative stars. I have been a diamond member and carry their Am ax and am loyal to Hilton when I travel for work and stay with them every time. I was trying to adjust one of my reservations and accidentally cancelled the wrong one. I called the Diamond desk to try and get it back and they refused to help me to get my reservation back at the rate that I paid. They were incredibly unhelpful and told me to kick rocks. They then proceeded to try and transfer me to a vacation sales person. I will be taking my business to Marriot. Hilton is the WORST.
This is primarily about the hilton…
This is primarily about the hilton diamond desk. I spendt 25 min on the phone trying to make a followup reservation with the diamond desk. The cs guy got it wrong twice. The dates and the availability of my room. Then I called again and the lady Sylvia was rude and condescending. These people should not be at the diamond desk.
Afternoon tea a disappointment
We were blessed to receive a wedding gift voucher for afternoon tea at the Hilton hotel Bournemouth. We did book a month ago for afternoon tea and had explained that my wife is coeliac and wanted no salmon and I did not want egg in our sandwiches. On arrival we waited a long time for drinks, my wife also received a salmon sandwich and had to return her food. I was served egg sandwiches and had to send mine back and got a vegan selection in replacement. The server got very confused. After we waited too long we decided to leave as we lost the will. We complained to the management and were offered to return on another date for a complimentary evening meal. We have returned for afternoon tea today and we’re very disappointed as my sandwiches were very small and the content on each sandwich was minuscule and contained no butter so were quite dry. The savouries were nice. But my wife’s selection was very close to inedible on the sandwiches as the bread was too dry and crumbled. The savouries were horrible. I asked for a white americano and received a black coffee. The overall experience was not good. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. The whole concept was wrong. Somebody needs to experience this in management (especially the gluten free food) to see why this is just not worth the money, experience or time. I am writing this in truth, if we were offered a free experience of afternoon tea at the Hilton in future we would refuse it.

Checked in and was given a handicapped room. My wife has a prostectic leg and needs a tub to bathe. I asked to change at check in and as told it would be an extra fee to change. This is unacceptable to maintain someone’s dignity.
Bait and Switch! Keep your pedal on the gas and keep going!!!
Well we stayed at the Hilton Arlington in Arlington Texas. I will start by saying this, all Hiltons are not all created equally. We have been staying at Hiltons for decades and they have a standard! This place shouldn’t be called a Hilton. Let’s start with or recent stay which was February 2025. We were there to visit my mom who’s battling cancer. The hotel was absolutely dirty! When we checked into our room there was garbage in our room from the previous guest. We had an AC vent that was literally coming apart because there were bolts on the floor. We left the hotel to see family and 7 hour’s later we returned to a screw that was on the bathroom’s floor which was pointing straight up ready for a barefoot to cause harm. Luckily one of us missed it, but not so lucky for the other person. I called the front desk and asked to speak with the manager. I shared what happened with our room and how disappointed we were as guests. He offered to move us to a new room. Supposedly an higher upgrade then we already had, but it wasn’t the room was a little bigger. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel was terrible! When we ate down there we saw hookers in the establishment trying to connect with male guest in the hotel it was disgusting and just wrong. We reported to the front desk, but the ladies there were in a deep conversation and really didn’t want to be bothered. Another Epic fail! We were there for 5 nights. I went to work out and the pool area had water all over the floor before you walk into the gym area. Once entering it was dirty and the equipment was old and out dated and didn’t work! The only thing that saved me was the free weights! The elevator had the metal door edge exposed to have someone get injured and some of the buttons didn’t work so you never knew if you were going to your floor or not! And then the last night was the icing on the cake! We come back after a long day of dealing with doctors appointment with family etc. We enter our room and it hasn’t been cleaned at all! I called downstairs and the customer service was a “F” the lady gave me massive attitude like it was my fault! I asked why, my room wasn’t cleaned and she say, you have to call downstairs for daily service, I said ma’am we’ve been here for 5 nights and our room has been cleaned everyday with out me calling down once! She goes well sir, I don’t know I can put in a request for your room to be cleaned! I replied we leave tomorrow so that won’t help anyone at this point! Once again with all the damn attitude, I replied can we at least get some damn clean towels to shower and she says let me see what, I can do sir! Finally a cleaning lady comes to our room. I shared with her what had happened and she goes do you remember the person name, I responded no, and she says, I know who it is and I’m so sorry, she’s very rude to clients. This was at 11:30 pm at night. She kept apologizing to me for the terrible events that occurred. Do yourself a huge favor and stay anywhere else besides The Hilton in Arlington because they have bad management and the manager told me they’re going through new management and changes all that is are excuses! TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!
I escalated my complaint to head office…
I escalated my complaint to head office of Hilton who only added salt to the wound.
3 of us stayed 13 nights at Homewood suites Las Vegas - Brendan the general manager was the most rude. offensive manager refusing to cater for vegetarian/vegans at breakfast telling us to go next door where they charged. |(Also a Hilton next door)
The room was cleaned in less than one hour by the housekeeping manager and the room itself was really not what you'd expect of a HILTON brand - dirty carpets, dirty curtains, dirty walls, bedding not even ironed, just felt dirty and having had one encounter with the manager it was clear I would have to escalate this to head office who have come out just as offensive in their response: thankful for my feedback and a one night free stay.
so we paid over £2000 to give them effectively a security shopper type feedback from which only they benefit and they have no decency to compensate us.
This is being escalated needlesstosay - NEVER HILTON.
My usual is Marriot Towneplace suites - big mistake booking this - first and last time HILTON.
I had a reservation at a Homewood…
I had a reservation at a Homewood suites that I needed to cancel due to a family emergency. Their website did not allow for cancellations, only edits, and I had to jump through hoops to retrieve a Hilton Honors number when I didn't even book the reservation using my Hilton Honors number. I tried to send feedback through their website and after entering a very thorough complaint, I just kept getting redirected to other places. Part of being a trusted hotel partner is understanding that sometimes people have to cancel and making that easy for them. I don't appreciate the additional stress this has added to an already stressful situation. Hilton should be ashamed!
Hotel Alpenrock , Breckenridge , CO
We stayed in Alpenrock few days and what a terrible experience,
Second day our room was not cleaned, no clean towels given, no paper towel , body wash .
Service was terribly slow .
Half of the workers did not understand English
Last day despite requesting our skis to be out next day am , they weren’t.
At 6 am we were struggling to find them
Staf was totally oblivious.
Never again we will stay in Alpenrock Hotel
We stayed at the Hilton resort in…
We stayed at the Hilton resort in Dubai, the service was as expected for a 5 star hotel however with my children having allergies the staff and chef went above and beyond. They would specially create desserts without milk so my 5 years old could have something, the staff never made you feel bad for asking about ingredients they always went to the kitchen and checked ingredients of packets etc not easy when you are trying to serve hundred of people.
Nothing good
I stayed at the Hilton Terminal 5 at Heathrow, London. You need a bus to get to and from the hotel. On all 4 trips the bus didn't turn up. Nobody seemed to either acre or be able to do anything about it. The cost was almost £7 each way. A taxi costs £30. It is about one mile to the terminal.
Do not use the Hilton Minneapolis Valet
Do not use the Hilton Minneapolis hotel.
I parked in Valet parking for one night and had some gift cards and credit cards hidden in the center console of my truck. When valet handed me the keys the next morning, they were all missing. My glovebox and center console had been gone through. There was no damage to the outside of my truck, so it was clear that one of the valet people did it. I talked to the manager at the Hilton, and he said that they don't own the valet and basically blamed me for leaving anything in my truck. I said it's a Hilton, and I shouldn't have had to empty my truck before giving it to valet. The Hilton manager really didn't care or want to hear about it. I did file a report with valet and the police.
Freezing cold in Doubletree by Hilton at SeaTac room
I paid $136.98 (including tax/fees) through Priceline to treat myself 1/20/2025 before an early morning flight to a room at Doubletree by Hilton at SeaTac Airport (188th and International Blvd).
My room thermostat said 70, but it was ice cold. I jacked it up to 75 - it was still ice cold. I am a senior citizen and was too weary and overwhelmed to go through what I pictured as a big hassle to call the front desk. So, I got into bed around 6pm fully clothed, including a fleece jacket, pants, and a hat, skipped dinner, and got warm under the blanket. This room also didn't have a fridge or microwave, so I couldn't heat up the decaf coffee I made to try and warm up - the coffee was lukewarm. In the morning, it was warmer, but I coldn't take a shower because there was no heat lamp in the bathroom.
Also, the janitorial staff didn't even line the trash cans with plastic bags - they just left bags sitting in the cans - I don't work for Hilton, but I lined the one in the bathroom - I ignored the one by the desk.
And, to top things off, they gloat about free chocolate cookies - I pictured a basket of warm cookies - instead, they handed me one stale one in a paper bag when I checked in.
I have treated myself to Hilton Garden hotels in the past, and had nice rooms. I realize I should've called the front desk instead of freezing in my room, but I was too bone weary from traveling and having to do a lot of things that day besides just get myself to the SeaTac area.
I would really like a refund - I really just can't believe this. I left reviews on Priceline and Google Maps, too.
I'm a senior, but also a practicing attorney - I was traveling for several reasons, including personal and business. I sure won't stay at this Doubletree by Hilton again.
