Graeme and his team always make you welcome and his competitions are well run and competitive.
The courses he chooses are always a good test of golf and the prizes are fabulous

We recently entered the pairs comp at Turnberry and from the moment we enquired the team at HIO have been super efficient, courteous and friendly. The whole trip was amazing, was a great competition and great value for money. Would suggest anybody looking at any of their events book without hesitation. My friends and I are already looking at next years schedule of events.

Had a great time , highly recommended, great organisation and a real opportunity to play a golf course you could only dream about.

Just £10 a year! I had a real sense of anticipation and excitement on every round, hoping and wanting and waiting for that elusive hole in one and the adventures it would bring, being a HiO member!
I was lucky enough to get my ace in Dec 25! A short form to fill out and within the week i had my invitation to the HiO final at Silloth GC in Cumbria. I had a few months of excitement and lots of lessons and practise before the big match!
Silloth GC was amazing! What a top venue and course to make the whole experience even more special. The course was in brilliant condition with spectacular views, the pro shop team were really friendly and helpful and the clubhouse staff were brill. The food was top drawer and really reasonably priced. Thanks Silloth GC!!!
The final was very well organised by HiO! Clear briefing, quick draw and then we were off!! Loads of banners and flags, announcer on the 1st tee, official on the nearest the pin hole to record the best shot and a professional and exciting announcement of the lucky winners, when we were all back in the clubhouse.
I’m honoured and more than a little amazed to say that i won the day! I got my ticket to TPC Sawgrass!! OMG!
I’ve now got 4 months of excitement and bragging before i fly off for the golf trip of a lifetime!! All for that £10 membership fee!!! Wow!

Graeme and the team run such a tight ship. Very well organised! Super nice blokes and nothing is too much bother for them. Had a fantastic few days at Turnberry with them april 2026.

As a golfer the Hole in one club provided me with the best experience, when I won a place to stay and play at Sawgrass. The whole event was superbly organised by Graeme and Andrew from start to finish.
Many friendships were made, along with some great memories.
Best £10 I've ever spent. Many thanks.

Well organised from golfing to accommodation first class

Graeme hosted yet another tremendous event. This was our 3rd event and we’ll be scoping out options for next year. It’s great to get a group of friends together to play nice courses with the added attraction of possibly winning a prize.

Last week in Northumbria was our second with Graeme and certainly won't be the last. From the courses chosen, faultless organisation and value for money, it made the event a sure fire winner.

Aside from the fabulous golf courses we played this week, our experience was made all the more pleasurable by the superb hosting of the event by Graeme and his team at the Home in one club. The organisation was faultless and the selected accommodation was perfect.

Fantastic value for money and a great selection of courses. Graeme and the team are superb. I’ll be doing 2 or 3 of these over the next 12 months. Cannot recommend enough.

Organised exceptionally well and first class courses

Just been to Hadrians wall pairs and mixed pairs at close house golf resort . Courses were in very good order .
Graeme and Andrew who run these competitions is always happy to see everyone and always polite and courteous to the players which makes it a fab few days.
The fact that you have a chance of ending up at sawgrass is really great as well and a great incentive ( it's not the winning it's the taking part 😆 )

My wife and I just played at Close House organized by Graeme and Andrew. Great hosts with always a smile and a lovely welcome. Very well organized always on hand, highly recommend one of their events

I have just come back from the Irish Swing Pairs Event.
Graema at HiO put on a very well organised event, choice of courses was excellent and great value<
We will be attending another event next year and I would definitely recommend to others.
