I had booked to stay with hip hip stay in Dublin during March but was unable to due to COVID. As such, we cancelled our trip. Although it took a while to get a refund from the company, we were contacted recently directly by Will who informed us of the struggles the business faced. He refunded us in full and offered us credit towards our next stay.

I booked my wife and her friends in for a weekend break with Hiphipstay in March/April. Due to COVID 19 travel restrictions, unfortunately, we had to cancel their booking and sought a refund. After an initially slow response, Will, the owner reached out to us directly, apologised and explained the unprecedented difficulties caused by COVID19 to his business.

Since then, he's been very responsive and decent to deal with. We were offered a 100% credit note, another booking slot or a refund. With an uncertain outlook on travel, we went for the refund. We received it in full and I'm sure we'll give a Hiphipstay property another chance at some stage in the future.

I wasn’t really sure what rating to give because I haven’t actually stayed with hiphip stay. Back in March our trip was cancelled due to covid lockdown. To cut a long story short, after a couple of months with no contact and me believing that I’d lost all my money, Will from hiphip stay got in touch to work with me on providing a refund. He’s been nothing but professional and polite in all of our dealings, and had promised me that although he couldn’t provide an immediate refund over the summer, I would get my money back eventually. I’m glad to say that I have now received my refund from the company with the help of their director Will. I believe that they are genuinely trying to stay afloat in a difficult time whilst trying to be fair to their customers, and I have every confidence that they are trying to do the right thing. I would be quite happy to book again in the future with hiphip stay.

I have stayed in multiple properties belonging to these guys when travelling with work, and every single one of them has been awesome. Really clear instructions on how to arrive, how to put keycode in door (no messing around trying to meet someone to give you a key) and where everything is.

Wifi has always been excellent in all properties, they have all had excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities and they've all been very clean and well looked after.

They are in insanely good locations, usually within walking distance of all the fun.

We stayed here for the weekend and it was a perfect location so central and safe in the city centre. The house itself was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Lots of space for hanging out and we had two babies with us!

We had a great stay in Ireland through Hiphipstay, who managed it perfectly!
I'd 100% book through these guys again - they were really good to deal and helped with everything!

Stayed at the HipHipStay property on Baggot Street for a month in March, a family of four returning to Dublin as our travels were cut short. Despite the difficult circumstances (lockdown, short notice) Will and the team we always available to help. Couldn't fault the property or the location.

Had a great experience using hiphipstay recently and hope to book them again in the future. We rented the van morrison house and it was incredible! An amazing house for a group gathering. It was spotless and had everything we needed like kitchen utensils, bbq, fresh towels etc! Lovely outdoor area and private parking. Found the company easy to deal with which was great!

HipHip Stay are crooks. They will not answer emails or phone calls. Tried to cancel a reservation over two months ago and total silence since then. Even worse as I thought I was booking with VRBO and now they are washing their hand of the matter

Sent numerous emails to cancel my reservation. No response at all. Terrible company. Beware!

I have been trying to reach Hiphipstay from the US for several weeks. No reply to repeated requests for refund under the terms of the agreement. I am owed over $700. Is there any organization in Dublin that can help us get our money back?
UPDATE: June 12- Tried to access the website messaging page yesterday, and was not able to sign in or access any of my past conversation with Will. All properties have been removed from the site.

Very clean apartment. Calm and well located. Perfect for a week-end with friends or family

Great stay, luxurious place, quiet yet not toi far from center, clean, confy beds, and amazing floor heating in the bathroom !
Would definitely come back !

Great location, the host was very accommodating and great to talk to. The house was outstanding and would reccomend this place to anyone as it is in the centre of Dublin very affordable.

Really enjoyed my stay in the Pierce Brosnan suite. Came home from Seattle for a couple of weeks with friends, decided to book this suite for a weekend to show my friends around and the location couldn’t be better. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful.

It's a great place to stay.
