Birthday cake never arrived, no communication

Ordered a Birthday cake on 1 April for 9 April, paid a lot of money and they never delivered, nor responded when I chased after delivery was late. I’ve now been trying to get hold of them for a refund - still no response. They dont pick-up the phone, respond to email or their support form.
They are clearly still open for business as the website is still up, you can buy and pay - DONT DO IT as you will waste your money.

Bad, old butter cake

Cake was with the taste of old butter. Was not possible to eat. Hippe taarten didn't compensate me anything when I've contacted them.

Dag nathalia, Zoals in de emails ook uitgebreid besproken heeft u de melding pas na 48 uur bij ons gedaan. Gezien wij toen geen mogelijkheid meer hadden het te proeven(wij weten nl niet hoe u de taart heeft bewaard, na 48 uur neemt de kwaliteit hoe dan ook af) kunnen wij weinig. Oude Boter smaakt bij ons in de ogen zuur, dit was niet het geval gaf u aan. Bij navraag in onze contacten over de smaak van 'oude boter' gaven zei dit bovenstaande ook aan. We hebben u ondanks de AV een tegemoetkoming aangeboden. Deze heeft u afgeslagen.

I had a customised cake done. The result was perfect, the delivery great and the contact with the store flawless. Highly recomend!
