How this company uses Trustpilot
See how their reviews and ratings are sourced, scored, and moderated.
Between nightmare and trauma! Demanded to leave the boat without getting help!
As a meticulous buyer, I always inform myself thoroughly before purchasing any lifetime deal (LTD).
My process includes:
Watching Review Videos: To gain a deep understanding of product features & real user experiences.
Reading Comments & Reviews: From multiple sources to gauge overall user satisfaction and potential issues.
Engaging in Community Discussions: By asking questions & commenting on forums & Facebook posts.
After extensive research, I initially commented on Hiro.fm’s LTD post expressing my concern about the deal, particularly the limitation of only being able to post three recordings. I did not post any abusive or rude comments. My comments were straightforward, such as 'you are only able to use 3 records' or 'this is not a good deal since you can only use 3 records.' These comments are neither rude nor abusive. I only posted about three comments and nothing more. This was not an ongoing issue. The company corrected my misunderstanding, prompting me to give it a try. I purchased the LTD for $69, since they cleared the misunderstanding. However, later, I experienced harsh, rude, and abusive treatment from Hiro.fm.
Encountering Issues
My first impressions were far from smooth:
I paid for the purchase at 10.22 pm & got the refund at 11:21 pm. Hence, 1 hour later!
Platform Access: Initially, I struggled to access the platform & couldn’t reach the dashboard. This entire & somehow complicated process took me around 30 minutes. I was then able to access the dashboard around 11 pm.
Upgrade Prompts: Despite having the LTD, I was frequently prompted to upgrade when using certain features, which was both confusing and frustrating.
Seeking Resolution
I turned to customer support for help:
Clarification: I sought to understand why I needed to upgrade despite having the LTD & questioned the limitations of the "solo-plan."
Refund Inquiry: Initially, I directly requested a refund, but the ticket was closed. I then reopened the inquiry, asking if there was a possibility for a refund, not demanding one outright.
Customer Support Experience
The response was unexpectedly swift & unfriendly:
Immediate Refund: Within 10 seconds of my inquiry, a refund was processed without further questions.
In the chat, the customer service stated: “We gave you a refund and kindly request you accept it and part ways. We don’t care for your business.” I answered: “I understand however I want to explore more about it”[the app]. “right now, I am not having a business, so you do not need to take care of it. I just want to clarification about it since when I click the plus in the categories – then I see the option for upgrade and the chart from the screenshot appears.” My comment was not hostile, but your comment was rude & harsh – I just answered accordingly.
Community & Social Media Fallout
The situation worsened:
Removal from Facebook Group: I was kicked out of their Facebook group, blocked, & my comments on their LTD post were deleted.
There are also non-Hiro.fm members in the group (I am in direct contact with someone who is not a Hiro.fm member but is a member of the Hiro.fm Facebook group. Even Hiro.fm denies it & posted that I lied. However, I talked with this person right after this event).
Evidence needed?
On March 31, 2024, a member posted the following text with a picture in the private group of hiro.fm: “Why you need a tool like Hiro.fm more than ever today. Your thoughts after checking out this PBS article...” Another example: On Dec. 25th, 2023, the CEO posted: “Merry Christmas from our home to yours!!!!!!” The post includes a picture of two boys & a Christmas tree in the background (probably her two sons).
Loss of Access: This prevented me from engaging with the community or reviewing my previous comments.
Conclusion
This experience with Hiro.fm was both strange & disappointing. Despite purchasing a lifetime deal with the expectation of support, I was excluded from the community & faced unfriendly customer service. Future buyers should consider these aspects before committing to Hiro.fm. Altogether, they treat you harsh, rude, and abusive and twist facts and tell you that you lied!
I sought help and wondered: Why aren't you giving me a chance to explore the app better? You just kicked me out!
Final Thoughts
My experience highlights the importance of understanding a company's support & community dynamics, which can significantly impact your overall experience with the product.
Additional Reviews
Later, I discovered other users had similar negative experiences, noting that Hiro.fm tends to block people who voice concern on saasworthy & trustpilot.
These reviews corroborate my experience, indicating a pattern of customer dissatisfaction & poor support from Hiro.fm. Be careful with Hiro.fm!

I would give zero star if there was that option. Over-promised, never delivered their 6-figure-in -90 days program. When I asked for my money back fourth week into the program, Carla White and Wei Huong kicked me out, but did not refund me one single penny. I have to go through chargeback and legal means to recover the money they fraudulently got me to pay. Not what it hyped up to be. Stay away!
