No neutral historiography
Unfortunately, Historia magazine did not offer enough neutral history writing, but a often strongly biased, non-religious approach to history.
The magazine repeats the same arguments that have been proven to be incorrect, for example about the darkness and backwardness of the Middle Ages.
As a good example, the magazine gives incorrect information about, for example, the atrocities of the Spanish Inquisition and exaggerates the number of victims about tenfold.
According to the magazine, religious history/culture does not seem to have anything good to offer, even though it has also had a great and important importance for the development of Western countries, culture and science (and also, for example, for the development of the Nordic welfare state)
In addition, the magazine describes history too much based on individual cases chosen by the editors (which often do not represent the overall picture of the history of that time)
The same approach seems to be on their Facebook posts as well.
I wish the magazine could truly take a more open perspective on history, so it would give even more realistic picture of history.
