Great range of activities - kids learnt loads and were completely engaged. Was really helpful too as the workshop leader knew plenty more about the Maya than myself!! Would definitely recommend and kids also created things they could take home with them too.

Our instructor - David- arrived at school with time to set up and speak to the teachers about the activities they would be leading.

He was engaging with the children and had lots of knowledge all about the Ancient Egyptians! The children thoroughly enjoyed their day!

Yet again we have had the most amazing experience with Historic Workshops! David took us back in time to the Stone Age and our children throughly enjoyed it!! The drama, artefacts, resources and activities were very well thought through and delivered exceptionally!! A fantastic day, we cannot way to see you again for Egyptian day!!!

We had a wonderful World War 2 workshop. Rob was excellent and highly engaging. The children loved the opportunity to handle artefacts, enjoyed the practical activities and were fully engaged from start to finish. It was the best way to launch our history learning for this term.

Our Year 4 class had a fantastic day with Rob on Ancient Greece. He brought the day to life for them with acting out battles, Greek writing, debating and playing traditional Greek board games. The children loved the experience and it has really enhanced their learning and their enthusiasm for the topic. Rob was incredibly knowledgable and was able to share a wealth of information with the children as well as being sympathetic to the different needs in the class. We are already looking to rebook for later in the year for one of the other topics.

Gareth led a fabulous stone age workshop to our Year 3s. The children were captivated from the moment they saw him. Engaging, perfect pace and a fantastic selection of activities. The children (and adults) thoroughly enjoyed their day. Highly recommend. Many thanks from Hylands Primary

It was truly a wonderful day! Gareth did an excellent job of engaging our children. We particularly appreciated the variety of hands-on experiences and the care Gareth put into preparing them. It is evident that he is passionate about his work! The communication before the session was outstanding, and it was clear that careful consideration had been given to the school's schedule and needs in planning the day. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we would certainly consider booking again.

Rob visited our school for a WWII workshop with our Year 6s and what a fantastic day we had. Rob has visited our school before which is why we asked him to come back again. All the content was incredibly engaging and informative. The children were able to use a variety of historical skills to understand and uncover more about the topic. They were hooked from the minute the day started and are now really invested in our WWII topic.

Engaging, well informed, variety of activities and fun!

Rob led another fantastic WWI workshop for us this week. This will be the 4th year we’ve enjoyed this specific workshop but have also experience many others.
The children were hooked from the minute he entered the room and listened intently to the information he shared.
They loved the recruitment training and officer test and how Rob kept in role throughout.
One of my favourite parts of the day was the artefacts activity. The children explored and asked questions and Rob answered every single one with such in depth knowledge. The staff team also learnt so much!
We are blown away with how much the children were able to recall the following day.
Thank you so much. We will definitely be booking for next year and are looking forward to the workshops that we have booked for other year groups in school this term.

Rob delivered an outstanding WW2 workshop. The children were completely engaged throughout – his knowledge, enthusiasm and use of artefacts and hands-on activities really brought history to life. A thoroughly worthwhile day and I would highly recommend!

Kate was amazing. She was so engaging and the children thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. She had so much knowledge to pass on to the children and this was done in a way that developed curiosity in the children. This was a great hook for our children to the history module we will be teaching.

My class had a brilliant day for their Victorian workshop. The leader ensured it was tailored to the needs of the class and kept them engaged and busy for the whole day. They learnt so much and went home saying it was the 'best day ever!' Highly recommend

Great Day with very knowledgeable staff

We had a fantastic day with David and his trainees, Bethany, Kate and Danny. The children were mesmerised by the acting at the beginning of the day and loved each session that followed. It was the perfect hook to start our Stone Age unit with just enough knowledge for us to build on without confusing the children. Thank you!

My class had a fantastic day with the Ancient Egyptian workshop. All the activities were really engaging and the children loved them. David was really knowledgeable, passionate and flexible with children's questions.

It was well organised and the activities for the children were great. All children were engaged in the whole day.

David was absolutely brilliant! We are definitely booking for next year and specifically asking for David.

Gareth engaged the children from the start. They were very excited about the items that he brought with him. He was very knowledgeable and could answer any of the questions thrown at him. He seemed to have a genuine interest in history which rubbed off onto the children. They were keen to write their recount of the day! The activities were well-timed and very engaging. The fact that they could touch and explore the artefacts was a huge bonus. I am hoping to book Gareth again next year. I was worried that a visitor would be less exciting that a trip out, but Gareth was fantastic and we didn't have to pay for a coach - always a huge cost factor nowadays!
