Really poor, incompetent at the least

Really poor. Filled in the online form and they then took £170 for the service. Then I received an email saying 'sorry we don't cover your area. We'll send you a refund'. Still not received the refund 18 days later. They're incompetent and dodgy by the looks of it. I'm taking it up with my bank to get the refund. EDIT: 04/02 - the payment has been returned to my account so not a scam but a very incompetent company. (I'm only an amateur programmer but if they gave me access to their internal systems I could program in the postcodes they don't deal with which would save them a lot of admin time and a lot of poor reviews).

Great company

Great company! I get my HIU service with this company consistently and they never fail to disappoint me. Smooth processes, lovely customer service, highly recommend!! As always, thanks HIU team :)

Fraud

They took money upfront and did not come back. The telephone is not answering. The chat is useless. Avoid!

Waste of time company

As others have said, it is not acceptable for a company to demand upfront payment then fail to contact a customer and when they do tell them they do not actually have engineers in that area (why that is not obvious at the point the service address is provided is poor).

Even worse the company then fail to refund the payment as promised. At best the company is chaotic, at worst they are on the cusp of scamming people

Great technician, poor customer service and process

The technician who initially came to inspect the boiler was friendly, personable, and professional, which gave a great first impression and the write up and recommendations were clear. However, the follow-up service has been extremely disappointing.

Trying to get a response for a simple valve change (that they recommended) has taken several weeks and multiple follow-ups on my part (and is still pending - they keep saying it’s ’with the commercial team’), which is unacceptable. Poor communication and delays like this signal bad customer service. It’s a real shame because the initial experience was positive with the technician, but the lack of efficiency and responsiveness of the ‘commercial team’ means I won’t be using this company again or recommending them.

If they want to retain customers, they really need to get on top of their processes.

Following up on my review

Following up on my review, after the Dispute Centre of Paypal, the refund was completed on 25 Nov. It is a service company and should not collect payment in advance and delay the refund. I suspect it is a scam website. I have also reported this to the police fraud team for follow-up.
