Note: HK Parts recommends using 124+ grain ammunition for 9mm and 180+ grain ammunition for .40 S&W for optimal performance. From our experience with the CC9 and MOD 1 comp, we recommend breaking in the recoil spring with 200+ rounds prior to installing the comp.  Alternatively, the slide can also be locked back and left for 2-3 days to acheive a similar break-in of the recoil spring.
