This is the right tool for the job!!!! It is simply impossible to seat the trigger return spring with regular needle nose plyers. Delivery went well, but downgraded here because I chose 2-day air and HK Parts did NOT adjust their package entry into the system.

When used, it barely fits into the pistol. Whe the spring is on place, the pliers will not fit to get out ofnthe gun.

I tried installing my spring with this in my USP many times and it just wouldn’t go deep enough to go into place so I just used it like needle nose pliers with a very tip and just pushed it into place so I wish I would’ve tried with needle nose pliers first. It seems like the tip of the pliers gets in the way on the pistol grip and doesn’t allow it to go deep enough other people that reviewed said it’s just fine. Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but it didn’t work for me.

I read horror stories about people installing a TRS without this tool. Having never worked on an HK pistol before, I figured it was best to order it just to have it. Made replacing my TRS in my P30 a 2 minute job from start to finish, including disassembly/reassembly. Highly recommended for everyone!

One of those tools you may only use for one specific job and only once, but it will pay for itself that one time. Don't even attempt putting the trigger spring back in without these pliers, it's basically impossible. Even with this tool, it takes a bit of patience. But it's straight forward once you get it. It is a quality tool. I wish the packaging it came in was better. When I received mine, the end of the tool itself was poking out of the box. The box did not even appear to be abused in any way, it just looked like the box was too small for the tool. Thankfully the tool was not damaged, but I let them know about it since it should be packaged better. Other people could be in the same position I was in and have their work held up due to this one tool. So if it did get damaged due to poor packaging, that would have been bad to say the least.
