The USC locking lever complete was delivered quickly and of excellent quality. But it is an extremely poor HK design and unreliable. The catch at the end of the lever is a polymer that is hinged and energized by steel parts. It is intended to catch the USC's hammer by the hammers metal prong. Polymer does not last long in a metal interface role. Shame on HK. My first one only last 13 years. This second one is much harder to install with "old" hands and bad eyesight. Consider storing USC-UMP (converted) with the hammer in the full relaxed state.and dry fire with safety snap caps.
