Turned my HK45T into a 38 special. Cut the recoil by @ 40%. The front sight stayed on target. I have arthritis and made shooting my 45 fun to shoot again. Easy on and off. Groups inproved and felt like a different gun. The weight on the end really made a huge difference. Like a new gun for $135.
I've taken the Threaded Barrel Compensator out to the range and had no issues with it after putting about 75 rounds through it. There were maybe 2 times that the slide didn't kick all the way back, and I had to manually rack it to advance the next round, but that's not uncommon for compensators and isn't an issue with the part IMO. The quality is good; the main issue I had was the design. It looks cool and is secure, so that part is fine, but fit-wise, it seems like it locks into the lower rail just a little bit forward of where it should be. You can slide it all the way on so that the barrel meets the compensator and the trigger guard cutout fits like a glove, but that position doesn't work with the rail, so you have to slide it a little forward, leaving a small gap. Just seems like it should slide all the way on and then lock into place.

Was extremely pleased with the quality of the comp. Fit and finish perfect. However with 230gr ball it would not cycle with the comp on, take it off and gun functions fine. Other than it being a show piece it’s worthless as a comp.
