The design is very nice considering what it’s designed to do which is mitigate vertical muzzle rise. I gave it three stars in places because it seems to be made of thin and/very light metal. I have one of type devices from a no name aftermarket company sized to fit a 9mm barrel and it’s much heavier in hand and feels as though it’ll take a beating much longer than this HK product. But HK could have designed this to be light to minimize the effects of adding weight to the barrel of the HK45 or HK USP 45.
