Installed the comp and had zero issues. I would say the reduction is about 15%. Enough to notice. High quality part.

On website, Looked good. I did not notice much difference between this and a thread protector. The gas holes go completely around the diameter of this device. Therefore, Not lessening the muzzle rise in recoil. There is another design offered at the same price point that may be better. If I was a gamer ( not), my choice would be the more expensive one that attaches to the slide. .
