H&M delivered a wrong product and is…

H&M delivered a wrong product and is now refusing return and refund, while shamelessly denying their own mistake. Customer care is useless — they don’t listen, don’t help, and don’t take responsibility.

This is not a small brand, yet the service feels completely unprofessional and careless. Sending the wrong item is bad enough, but refusing to correct it is unacceptable and shows how little H&M values its customers.

Online shopping from H&M is a risk. If they mess up your order, don’t expect support or fairness. Highly disappointed and will not recommend.

I had an awful experience for the first…

I had an awful experience for the first time with h&m. I purchased 5 boxers as a pack and the description was stating "woven cotton" which was what I wanted. After purchasing them, I checked the material section and it was saying that there are made with 100% polyester. If I knew that, I would not have bought them. After I realised it, I contacted customer services and asking them to cancel my order since I do not want that material. They informed me that I will need to contact them again in order to cancel my order as they can't do it right now since I haven't received the tracking number yet. While speaking to the agent, he just informed me that and left the chat without even telling me. I found the whole experience, frustrating and the agent rude! Terrible customer and overall experience.

Very poor service.

After going to the H&M store in Inverness we were treated very poorly by the staff there. They were very discourteous. I recently purchased some gifts for Christmas (advertised as arriving in time for Christmas), it's now the 30th of December, the parcel still hasn't arrived. I won't be shopping in H&M again.

Gift Card Activation BS

I made a return of a Christmas gift, at The Streets at Southpoint 27713 Durham USA

This was at 3:00pm on Monday December 28th. We can were given a gift card for the return, and wanted to use the gift card to purchase a replacement item. We were told by the manager that it would take at least 30 minutes wait for the card to activate to be able to make the purchase. That would have been good information to know ... The manager blamed my wife saying she asked for the gift card, so it was her fault. What kind of Customer service is that?? We live an hour away and could not wait 30 minutes. My wife ended up purchasing the replacement item with cash, and now we are stuck with a gift card for a store I never want to shop at again!!

Why couldn't that manager Short female, dark hair, (you know who you are) just let us pay the difference and cash out the gift card when it eventually activates?? That would have been a reasonable solution. Like many others, I would have preferred to give Zero stars! ⭐

I don't think H&M will survive with that kind of Customer Service. They currently have earned 1.5 stars from 16,000 reviews! You need a new Customer Service team! And anyone who has interest in H&M sell, sell, sell, B4 it's too late.

H&M are deliberately withholding a delivery charge I am legally entitled to since I returned the entirety of an order. H&M being very difficult about returning this money stating technical troubles and I am now on my 4th time contacting them. Not good enough.

Very slow delivery, poor customer service

I ordered some items from them on November 30. All items were showing as available and delivery was supposed to take 8-10 working days. Also most items were Christmas related so there is no point delivering them after Christmas. It is now one month since I placed the order, the parcel is supposed to be in transit since Dec 8 and I still have not received the item. I have sent them an email and got no reply except standard auto reply. The app, which is otherwise very easy to use, has no functionality for reporting delayed orders except redirecting you to q&a which I believe is intentional. Overall my experience ordering from them is very bad and I plan to return the items and never order from them again. Horrible delivery times and customer service overall.

If I could give minus stars I would

If I could give minus stars I would. I've always liked this store and never had a problem but sadly will not be shopping here again. I ordered an online gift voucher to be emailed on Christmas day. It never arrived. I can appreciate this however when I called customer services and I use that term lightly, it took 20 minutes to confirm it hadn't been sent. I was told I'd receive money back within 72 hours to my card. Ok so I asked if they could put that in an email as I didn't feel confident I could trust them, I was told basically the answer was no. Everything from your bank will let you know to I can't send you an email....45 minutes of asking to have the matter escalated to someone who could just confirm in an email that they would refund to my card...all I was told, on a repeating loop, by the person I spoke to us that I would get a refund in 72 hours. She wouldn't give me her name and when I said fine I'm going to record this conversation ss proof of what you've said, she stopped talking, held for 3 minutes and hung up. This has literally just happened. There's no other way to complain! So should I not receive the refund I will most definitely ask my bank to start proceedings against them and will go to the financial ombudsman as their website suggests!

The worst customer service of the decade ! 🤮
I visited the store to make an online return.
The people running the store, all in their 20s couldn’t have been more rude and brand damaging.
They refused to handle the return as it wasn’t convenient for them to return and asked me to figure it out and pay for a return as online is not their problem!
I can not comprehend how H&M allows such brand damaging conditions!
Store itself is always in a jumble sale condition and always looks Aweful!
AVOID! I am never going back! H&M you just lost yet another customer

Great Products & Customer Service

As a regular at H&M, I love their product offering, designer collaborations and the discount you get from the members point scheme. Returns and refund are a little slow but the customer service is fantastic. I had issues with a missing parcel from Evri but the customer service team sorted it out promptly.

E-gift card issue

What is the point of offering people an incentive to buy an H&M e-gift card when it is impossible to buy one through the H&M website? I have tried over and over again and it just isn't possible. The payment won't go through, and my cards are fine by the way. What an absolutely useless website and useless company. To not sort out a technical issue like this during the Christmas period is a disgrace. Imagine how much money this silly company is going to lose because of this issue. In this difficult climate you'd think they'd get their act together. Anyway, I've decided to take my money elsewhere and won't be bothering with H&M again.

Complete inability to buy e gift card

Been trying for a couple of weeks to buy an e gift card. Tried different platforms and cards. Nothing works.

To my surprise, when I contacted customer service they were aware of the issue. I was suprised because I have seen nothing on their website to alert frustrates wannabee purchasers to the fact that there is a know “technical issue” at HM’s side. They assert that they still haven’t worked out what is causing inconvenience to many who are attempting to purchase the E gift card.

Peculiar way to operate. Not impressed.
