In the present coronavirus situation our dishwasher and fridge both broke down. My sister has diabetes and kidney failure and we need to be very careful with storing food and making sure dishes are clean and disinfected. Hockridge staff were wonderful in replacing, supplying and fitting new equipment promptly.

This was the first time I have used their website to select & order an item rather than visit the shop.
I had all the information I needed including accurate dimensions.
Selected my freezer & got a call back for card payment & delivery arrangements well within the 3 hours stated. It was delivered & installed the same day by really helpful staff.

I like to support small local retailers when I can, but initially cancelled my order for a freezer, as no one called to accept payment.

However first thing the next day I received a call from Hockridge Appliance with an apology and explanation that two staff members were off unexpectedly and being a small outlet, there had been no one to man the systems over the weekend.

I accepted the apology, made payment and less than two hours later I had a freezer installed.
