Avoid at All Costs – A Nightmare Experience with Hoist Group / WeArePlanet.

I cannot stress this enough: stay far away from Hoist Group / WeArePlanet. Our experience with their systems and services has been nothing short of disastrous. Their products, especially the payment solutions and so-called “hospitality tech,” are wildly unreliable and riddled with bugs. One day they work, the next they crash – completely disrupting operations and leaving guests and staff frustrated.

The staff? Unmotivated, untrained, and often completely clueless about the systems they are supposed to support. Trying to get any real help is like shouting into the void – support is virtually non-existent, and when you do get through, the answers are vague or incorrect.

Their planet paymentsystems are a mess, interfaces are outdated, and updates seem to introduce more problems than they solve. We've lost valuable time, money, and guest satisfaction due to their broken promises and poor service.

These companies operate more like scammers than professional service providers. Do not be fooled by their slick marketing – behind the scenes it’s chaos, incompetence, and zero accountability.

I strongly warn anyone considering Hoist Group / WeArePlanet: look elsewhere. There are better, more stable, and honest providers out there.

My experience with Hoist / We Are Planet was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. They assured me that they would connect my cash register system, but it failed to work as advertised from the very beginning.

After installation, the system did not connect properly, and tips from guests were not registering, which created significant accounting issues. This forced me to spend considerable time and money on my bookkeeper to manually correct the records. When I reached out to their support team for assistance, they were unresponsive and simply dismissed my concerns, stating that it was ‘not possible’ to fix the issue.

For a company that claims to offer professional solutions, this level of service is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with a system that is crucial to daily business operations. Due to their negligence, I experienced unnecessary financial losses and wasted valuable time that could have been spent on more productive tasks.

I strongly advise others to avoid doing business with Hoist / We Are Planet and seek out more reliable and competent providers. This company is not worth the hassle or risk.
