1 Star – Extremely Disappointing Experience With Hola Prime
I initially had a positive experience with Hola Prime and successfully received 2 payouts from them without issues. Because of that, I believed I had found a prop firm I could work with long term.
However, everything changed during my third payout cycle.
I traded exactly the same way I always had:
* controlled risk,
* predefined stop losses,
* consistent lot sizing,
* no martingale,
* no copy trading,
* no arbitrage,
* no prohibited practices.
During this cycle, I caught 2 very strong high risk-to-reward gold trades which generated significant profit in a short period while still risking below 2% per trade.
Instead of rewarding disciplined execution, Hola Prime suddenly reviewed the account and claimed my trading was “gambling” or “speculative behavior” purely because a large portion of the profits came from a small number of trades.
Initially, they removed approximately $7,000 in profits from the account through a “rebalance,” despite no objective rule violation being identified.
After this happened, I calmly continued trading within the same controlled risk framework and regenerated substantial profits again. Shortly before payout eligibility, after I had already completed the required profitable trading days, they permanently breached the account.
What concerns me most is that throughout the entire process:
* no clear rule violation was ever identified,
* no prohibited strategy was proven,
* and the explanations remained extremely broad and subjective.
Their reasoning repeatedly focused on “profit concentration” and “overall trading characteristics” rather than any actual breach of published risk parameters.
In my opinion, this creates serious concerns for profitable traders who trade asymmetric risk-to-reward strategies successfully.
I also found parts of the communication process unprofessional, particularly when I was unexpectedly contacted by phone regarding the account review instead of continuing transparently through written communication.
The entire situation is fully documented with emails, account history, and screenshots.
I will allow other traders to form their own conclusions, but based on my personal experience, I no longer believe Hola Prime has the best interests of consistently profitable traders in mind once profits become substantial.
Very disappointing outcome after initially believing this was a firm I could trust long term.

These rules are clearly stated and are designed to maintain a fair, sustainable, and responsible trading environment for all traders on the platform.
It is also important to note that you had previously received two payouts from us totaling $7,887.26 without any issues.
However, during a subsequent review, the trading pattern on the account was found to be inconsistent with a structured and sustainable trading approach, and instead aligned with behaviour classified under our prohibited gambling-style trading practices. Trading strategies that rely on isolated high-impact outcomes rather than consistent execution across multiple trades are considered non-replicable in real market conditions and do not align with the objectives of our program.
Based on this assessment, the account was rebalanced in accordance with our policies and was subsequently breached.
While we respect your perspective, we stand by our review process, our policies, and the decision reached in this case.

Beware of these scammers
I have been trading with them, the slippage on open trades is a big red flag. They take unnecessary KYC interview even before requesting a payout. Support team was all indian dudes who don't even have manners to speak. I've been Funded with many firms but they're worst.
They seems like full of scammers who are here for short term gains, will collect your funds and then say good-bye to you.
And the new thing they just banned traders from Pakistan without any clarification, that's the norm whichever country's traders become profitable they just simply ban that country.

The KYC interview process before payouts is a standard compliance measure designed to prevent fraud and support anti-money laundering requirements. These checks are applied consistently to all traders.

My country Zimbabwe is not on the list, so I couldn't do KYC. Maybe if you can add it for the sack of people like me who stay and work abroad. Also many traders in Zimbabwe use Crypto to receive or do payments so you are actually leaving a large number of traders out there, especially with your great discounts...

So far so good. Challenge price is cheapest. profit target at level 2 is only 5% , max loss is a generous 10%, both easily achieved and best experience of all you get immediate chat support and not have to wait a few days before getting a reply. One of the best prom firm in my view.
