Huge thank you to Bob from Holiday Bay for helping me book my holiday! He was incredibly helpful, patient, and really took the time to find the best options for me. Made the whole process so easy and stress-free.
I haven’t been on the trip yet, but so far the service has been good — I’ll definitely update the review once I’m back

What a great experience

A Pleasure to Deal With

I have had an awful experience with…

I have had an awful experience with holiday Bay
Bob was my agent.
He couldn't do enough for me before booking the trip but after he,d recieved my money and got the sale, he didnt want to know. Before thr sale he'd answer the phone straight away, after the sale he took around 2 days to get back to me.
At one point when i was trying to follow up regarding the tickets he'd said he'd posted, i started panicking! As it had been nearly a week without word, he messaged saying he would ring tomorrow as he'd a works night out!!
Before the trip he was asking me i f I could give him a review as he was up for promotion, id not even been on the trip yet.
During the holiday I asked him 3-4 prior to heading to our next hotel of he could get me a change of room, he didnt even get back me.

Trip home from Thailand.
Total disaster, the airline offered Bob alternative flights as mine was cancelled due to the war, which I now evidence of.
Bob informed me I needed to be on the first flight offered or id have to pay over £4000. This wasnt the case, I now know alternatives where offered by the airline. I just wanted the safest route home, it turns out Bob had chosen the most dangerous route home for us
The results of this was me and my 11 year old child having to take a flight into Abhu Dhabi, one of the most dangerous places im the world to be in right now!! With a 13 hour stop over which he hadn't informed me of.
I decided to pay for a hotel out of my own pocket as staying at the airport was unsafe and not advisable by the government, Hence our insurance now being void. Holiday bay should never had put myself and my son in this dangerous position! Especially as the airline offered other flights. We were only in the hotel for 2 hours and my and my son recieved missile alerts on our phone!
We eventually got to Heathrow, original destination should have been Manchester. I then had to pay for train fairs out of my own pocket as Bob had agreed even after the airline had told him they wouldn't supply us with train tickets to accept it anyway .
This company have been an absolute disgrace!!.
Bob was incompetent and lied to me on many occasion. The manager ive tried to have a conversation with since has now completely blanked me.
They put myself and my son in a dangerous situation that has caused my son great trauma when it could have all been avoided.
Avoid this company!!!!

Firstly, I would like to address the communication delays you experienced. During the time of your travel, there was an ongoing situation in the Middle East which led to widespread disruption. A high number of passengers were stranded at various destinations, and many flights were being cancelled or changed at very short notice. This resulted in an exceptionally high volume of urgent cases, which unfortunately impacted response times. That said, I completely understand how concerning this must have been for you, and I sincerely apologise for the delay in communication.

Regarding your return journey, all alternative flight options provided to you were based entirely on those made available to us directly by the airline at that time. Due to the ongoing situation, these options were extremely limited and highly time-sensitive, with many being secured or withdrawn within minutes. As a result, passengers were often required to make quick decisions in order to secure a route back to the UK. All available alternatives were shared with you for full transparency.

We fully appreciate your concerns regarding the stopover and the additional costs you incurred. While these arrangements fall under the airline’s operational control, we understand the impact this had on your journey. As advised, submitting a formal claim to the airline is the best route for reimbursement consideration, and we have already arranged the refund for the unused transfer.

Additionally, we have confirmed that your taxi fare will be refunded back to your account, and we are currently awaiting the receipt in order to process this for you.
That said, I genuinely regret that your experience did not reflect the level of care and service we aim to provide. Your feedback is taken very seriously, and we are reviewing this internally to ensure improvements are made.

We truly value all of our customers and would welcome the opportunity to restore your confidence in our service. Please feel free to contact us directly so we can continue working towards a resolution.
