As a host I suffered a lot from them.
My experience with Holidu has been negative, and based on what happened, I strongly advise anyone who owns a holiday home to think very carefully before handing over the management of their property to them.
Holidu presented itself as a channel manager for price synchronization. It was clearly agreed that I would only modify prices on the main channel and that their role would be to correctly synchronize those prices across the other channels. For a certain period, the system worked well. Then a serious error occurred on their part.
On that occasion, my property was offered on Airbnb (which they managed) to a French guest at a much lower price than the one I had set.
As soon as I noticed it, I immediately contacted both the guest, to honestly explain the situation, and Holidu, to report the problem and try to find a solution together.
The result?
The loss of the booking
A financial loss
Serious damage to my reputation.
The point is very simple: Holidu operates as a channel manager, and the damage resulted from their synchronization error. I could not possibly have caused that misalignment.
Despite this, instead of taking responsibility for what had happened and properly handling the issue, I was asked to pay them for the lost revenue as well!!!
Subsequently, I received a formal payment request for an amount that I dispute.
In the end, this has been my experience: loss of a guest, financial damage, reputational damage, wasted time, and additional pressure through payment demands.
I would also like to point out that my property, Oliventu, has a perfect 10/10 rating on Booking.com, precisely because I strive to manage guests with seriousness and fairness.
For this reason, I would strongly urge anyone considering working with Holidu to exercise the utmost caution.
Very disappointed with using Holidu. The need for a security deposit is not shown anywhere in description of the accommodation. The first mention is on the payment page and then it is in a small font in two short lines so very easily missed when concentrating on imputing payment details. You find out shortly after paying when an email comes from the Host asking for a huge deposit. In our case it was 500 Euro 25% of the cost of the rental. Worse still the payment has to be made directly to the Host NOT Holidu so you are a hostage to fortune as to whether you get the deposit back or not. Also Holidu emphasis for guest to process all payments exclusively through their secure platform to avoid fraud. However, this does not seem to apply to security deposits even large ones since they want nothing to do with them and tell you to deal directly with the host. Presumably there are never any fraudulent dealings with security deposits?? Not satisfactory and would not use Holidu again.
Had booked an apartment in Rome with this company for myself, my 2 sons and nephew. Everything was booked and was looking forward to our stay. Then I received a message stating they have had to cancel our booking due to apparent building work needing done. This of course being a lie and they had it back up for booking at almost double the price. Clearly a company who is unreliable and would definitely make sure I don't book any of their properties. Caused a headache trying to find something else with short notice.
The hosts were very helpful in showing us around the apartment with all the essentials in the kitchen needed, lovely atmosphere when you are out and about town plenty of places to eat, ect , would definitely recommend you will have a great stay !

We stayed in a charming castle property which was managed by Holidu. There were several maintenance issues including windows that didn’t fit/close, dangerous electrical extension leads and appliances that didn’t work.
We informed Holidu about these but they took days to answer and claimed to try to contact us to gain access to the property to rectify them but no communication was received.
I received a message from Holidu completely out of the blue, and I have to say I am genuinely impressed. Their team reached out thoughtfully and showed real care and attention for every aspect of the property we are managing here in France while coordinating from Sweden.
What stood out immediately was how attentive and professional they were. They clearly take the time to understand the property, the owners, and the details that matter when managing tourist rentals.
For anyone looking for a reliable and conscientious partner to help manage a holiday property, Holidu is absolutely a company worth speaking with. I am looking forward to working with them and seeing what we can build together.

Very poor experience, they cancelled my accommodation very close to my trip, with no other viable option. They shared some alternatives, 2 with very bad reviews and 1 which was way more expensive and with 1 bedroom less.
