Everything went really smooth and no problems with bookings, payment or anything else

Avoid Holidu at all costs. We booked a villa based on explicit, written reassurance from a Holidu customer service agent confirming the property featured a private outdoor pool.

This was a flat-out lie to get our money.Upon arrival, we discovered there is no pool and never has been.

The host was lovely and explicitly confirmed that Holidu completely falsified her listing data across the internet.

When we immediately reported this massive breach of contract, Holidu's insulting automated AI chatbot trapped us in endless loops, completely missed the point, and automated a stressful complaint against our innocent host instead of providing human help.

People work incredibly hard all year to save up for a single week away with their family.

Instead of enjoying a chilled, relaxed holiday at the villa, we spent critical holiday hours trapped fighting a customer service bot, and we were forced to constantly drive around in a foreign country, spending significant extra money out of our own pockets on beach parking and sun lounger rentals just to access water.

When humans finally took over the case days later, they showed absolutely zero empathy for the immense stress and disappointment they caused my family.

They treated us like an annoying inconvenience rather than a defrauded customer.

They flatly refused a full refund, gave us an impossible ultimatum to vacate mid-stay during peak July high season when there are zero alternatives, and forced a completely inadequate €334.61 formula on us that doesn't even cover our baseline daily out-of-pocket expenses to replace the amenity they lied about.

This is a disgraceful, deceitful platform. They ruined our hard-earned holiday, left us financially penalized for their own system errors, and possess zero corporate empathy.

We will absolutely never use this company again.

Holidu was supposed to host me and my friends for a week in the alps. They agreed to change the dates and we happily booked airline tickets on the new date. One week later they decided to change their minds and cancelled our booking. This is an absolute joke of a company. They take absolutely zero responsibility for their customers. Stay as far away from this company as possible if you want to make your dream trip come true.

I booked a property in France through Holidu, the pictures of the property looked great, but when we arrived it was totally different, to get to the property we had to walk up an alleyway that was never mentioned in the property description. The property had a terrible odor, it really wasn't nice. We went into the shower room and you would not believe the mess, the toilet was BROWN it hadn't been cleaned in months, OMG it was awful, the shower area was horrible, the grouting was black, the silicone was black, I wouldn't have showered in it. I contacted the point of contact and told her, she came to the property and agreed with the condition. She turned out to be the housemaid, she said she could clean it again if I wanted. I told her that I couldn't stay in a house like this. She then called her manager and explained the situation and sent him pictures. He spoke to me and said I should contact Hoildu direct and inform them that the property was not as advertised and totally unacceptable, we booked into a hotel that afternoon at our cost. Holidu asked for a copy of the hotel invoice, nothing else was offered to help. I sent several emails explaining everything but I didn't have any pictures of proof of how bad it was, so they couldn't do anything, they told me they will contact the owner and he wouldn't give us a refund or an offer of any kind. Holidu then offered me 10% refund as an act of good will. Which was totally unacceptable. I informed them that I was considering taking legal action against Holidu and the owner and that I required the owners full contact details so my solicitor can communicate with him. Holidu would only give me a concierge email and phone number. This would not be acceptable. I requested this several times, but that was all they would give me. Holidu kept informing me that they are just a booking service, I have a contract with Holidu. I will be taking legal action against Holidu. Please, please don't use Holidu, I won't.

Everything so simpel! Highly recommended!

You need to be careful renting this place. They will not deliver the keys to the apartment, you need to pick them up in another city called Calella, and if you don't have a car is 1 hour trip by train or bus, walking is 30' each way.
Then, they will charge you when you arrive, only cash, electricity(9 eur a day) and cleaning (85 eur), and you have to pay 15 eur per person for towels and sheets. The apartment it self is OK, has good layout and the kitchen is great. Good location. But, the key situation and the extra cost that is not specified in the ad would makes us never again book this place.

We loved it! The house was very nice with the pool and outdoor area. Pretty silent and calm, despite close to hotels and restaurants. Close to supermarket and not far from the beach. The beds were not so comfortable, the only thing that wasn´t so god.

Nice house with fantastic view. Bigger pool than it looks. The small shop and drug store in the village are both very good. You can find almost all you need there. The pizza restaurant also has pasta etc and nice drinks in the evening. Good people!

On the downside the kitchen could need sharper knives, big bowls, some measures etc since it doesn't feel complete when cooking. The pool needs continuous attention since myriads of different insects find their way into the water all the time. There is a couple of long stemmed skimmers in the garage!

Nice house with genuine Italian touch! Great location if you're looking for piece and quiet. A very nice view from the terrace. You will need a car if you're staying here. Driving distance to the beach, Firenze, Pisa and Lucca. The house makes you feel "at home".
