Poor customer service with little ownership of the postal and customer consideration non existent.

I have to say that my experience of this company is absolutely shocking. I used to buy their stuff in schipol and decided to buy their delft directly from their website. I live in Ireland which is 1hr and 30 minutes flight from the Netherlands. I ordered on the 19th of october and it was dispatched on the 20th. Ten days later, nothing had moved in the tracking on the dutch side. I reached out and was told they contacted post nl, two days later I reviewed them because nobody came back to me. Martijn contacted me with some garbage excuses even though he did not have a clue what was going on with my item. He then contacted postnl to apparently be told the item was stuck in the uk even though the tracking never said anything about the item being in the uk. My experience is that they just make up excuses because they use a substandard postal service. I know this because I placed an order with one of their competitors and the order arrived today, over a weekend, the order took 4 days to arrive from the netherlands with dhl. The worst thing was that the dhl method was cheaper than post nl. Now here is another thing, I also ordered from another site which I think was delfts blauw and it turns out that they are owned by the same company. What a joke. Martijn then emailed me this morning and told me he had cancelled both orders and refunded all of them without even asking me. There were no concessions provided by this company for the absolutely terrible customer service , poor postage or even the basic question of what I would prefer as a customer. If something like this had happened, the seller would immediately dispatch with a proper courier service for the inconvenience. I know this from experience. Martijn even made sure to advise me he would be requesting that the item be returned back to the company. The only excuse provided by the company was it was because I live in Ireland when the real answer is that they use a sub standard over priced postal service and have terrible customer service. Needless to say, I will never order from this company and would advise eveyone else not to order. I am also deeply suspicious of the reviews on trust pilot being genuine because this is not reflective of my experience with this company. But that is my personal opinion.

Good selection, Fast Service and Customer Support

I purchase some souvenirs from Hollandwinkel, the delivery is really fast (remember to order it before 14:00 for next day delivery if possible). The team responded to my question nicely and fast.

I really recommend people to try shopping for souvenirs in Hollandwinkel.
