I had a terrible experience with this company. Initially I booked removing furniture and removing rubbish and I got an email confirming this and I got charged $100 for it that confirms it’s pre booked. However on the day of removing the furniture, the removalist guys said we were not told about removing rubbish and left us without doing it. Imagine it’s end of our tenancy and we are left with a house full of rubbish including a massive sofa. On top of this it’s Sunday no rubbish removalist works today or it’s already booked with such a short notice. I had to call so many other companies on Saturday night after a long day of removing to find someone. I got super stressed and anxious. This is terrible service no responsibility even when I got confirmed email and got charged for the booking. The guys left and said the company did not tell us. Terrible customer service as well, imagine someone from customer service yelled at me that I didn’t make the mistake why do I have to apologize. The issue is the customer service represents the company. I will never recommend this company to anyone and will never use them again horrible

Juliano, Lucas and Lorenzo were fantastic and efficient. They took great care of our things and worked closely with us for the best outcome. It was a hard day to move in the 36C heat and we could not be more grateful!

Both Boys were sensational. Nothing a bother

It was great, the driver was actively notify me about their moves, any possible delays. Once arrived, they were very professional with their move. All done in a couple of hours.

Whole team of removalists were polite, friendly and very professional. they kept me up to date at all times with what they were doing, anticipated times for arrival, conclusion etc. Packing skills were inbelieveable!!
Whole staff managing my move on the day were also oustanding.

The guys were friendly, listened to what specific requirements were needed with the packing; however, I felt they didn't work at a pace that was expected for the price. I felt they could have used their time a little more to get the job done, instead of doing one thing at a time. They were good at asking questions

Fantastic service from start to finish, I would highly recommend them.

The job needs a professional estimator. The difficult parking was not allowed for and the quantity of removals allowed was too low. The lack of a power tool was significant. And communication with staff was difficult.

Work unfinished the day agreed (Thursday), they left us only with a bed, no clothes, no toiletries, nothing( I'm 9 konths pregnant), came back next day but left as they were sick, and the manager had no solution until next Monday. Finally the job was done on Monday.

I recently engaged Holloway for my move from Melbourne’s west to the east, and the service was exceptional. Raj and Maddi were consistently patient and highly professional throughout the entire process.

This was both a large and complex move, with several challenging items to relocate, most notably a fridge that needed to be taken upstairs through a limited space. Despite the difficulty, they managed everything with great care, and effectively removing all the stress from what could easily have been an overwhelming day.

I genuinely appreciate their effort, hard work and professionalism, and I would confidently recommend Holloway to anyone seeking a reliable and seamless moving experience.

We emptied our container last Saturday ( 29/11/2025 ).
Your employee, Sandro, was very helpful and accommodating...even making the 3 of us who arrived before our assistant friends a cup of coffee.
He is a great employee and one you should be proud of.

Horrific process, no idea how they have any good reviews. (1 bed unit move interstate)

My pick up date got shifted multiple times, drivers arrived 1.5 days early (I had to scramble to be ready) just to tell me they’d be back a day later than I’d booked. Then got a call on the original booking day that a different driver was nearby to do the pickup. He was by himself so luckily I had insisted the first movers move everything downstairs, otherwise he would not have been able to complete the job. The driver assured me that he’d deliver the morning of my scheduled drop off.

Morning comes and I had to call the driver, despite being told he would be calling ahead of the job, just to find out he was offloading my belongings to another truck and they’d let me know when they could drop off. At this point I called Holloways office to complain about the service, after being transferred to the wrong team and then the call being dropped, when I finally spoke to the interstate team they had absolutely no idea what was happening, or that any changes had been made to my booking. A third truck eventually arrives and unloads. There were several breakages of glasses despite being bubble wrapped in a box marked fragile, and the power cord to my TV was lost. I have moved 13 other times and never had any breakages or missing items.

We had Thiago and Marcus from Holloway help us with our move today, and they were absolutely fantastic. They worked incredibly hard for eight hours, handling everything with care, patience, and professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were efficient, friendly, and made the whole moving process so much easier and stress-free for us. Thank you!

WE WERE CHARGED FOR 4HRS OF UNPACKING AFTER STAFF TOLD US IT WAS AN HOURLY RATE AND LEFT AFTER 2HRS.

The sales and pick-up service were excellent, but once payment was made, the service quality dropped significantly. I was given multiple delivery times, all of which passed with no arrival and no communication. I had to chase your office several times to find out what was happening, only to be given new times that were also missed.

Even after advising when I would not be home, a delivery attempt was made during that exact time. This shows there was no communication between your staff at several points in the process.

I do want to acknowledge that the two men who eventually completed the delivery were fantastic — they were careful, polite, apologetic and genuinely lovely to deal with.

However, several items are still missing, and now I once again have to chase your company to get this resolved. This is already a very difficult time for our family, and the repeated issues with your delivery process have only added unnecessary stress.

I wish to thank everyone at Holloway Removals for going over and beyond the call of duty to help me out at this very difficult time.
Thank the guys who came out at 10:00pm Friday night to pick up all the furniture and rubbish. They did a great job. They didn't open the bedroom door with the note on which had the two cats inside.

This is the reason why I chose Holloway over a corporate company. Wouldn't have received the flexibility and service that Holloway provided..

Will have no hesitation in using you again and will definitely recommend Holloway to friends and family.

They are the worst moving company I have ever used. I actually paid a premium because I wanted the best service and I was told that they were the best and that they only use directly employed staff to do all of their moving jobs. I was also told that they would be quick and courteous and respect my time.

None of that happened.

Only one person arrived for the pick up. The other person arrived almost an hour later.

What should’ve been a simple two bedroom apartment move (just for me, one person) took 9 1/2 hours. and for that privilege I was charged about $2000.

The Building Manager in my building commented that they could see the men were deliberately being very slow and not fully loading the elevator to capacity like they should have so that it would take them extra time. I actually ended up recording footage of it for proof.

I reached out several times to their operations team because I was extremely concerned about elevator bookings (as I was moving into an out of a high-rise apartment, something which I had told the lady when I booked the job and I emphasised the importance of the timeframes I had booked for the elevators), but they clearly didn’t care. I also contacted their operations and customer service teams several times throughout the day because I was concerned about the time it was taking and the elevator bookings I had made I but they never did anything about it and they never even got back to me.

Instead they contacted the movers themselves who then became ruder and ruder throughout the day but never went any faster in fact I think they deliberately slowed down even more.

I lodged a complaint and I still haven’t heard back.

Stay away from these charlatans. Also it was very obvious to me that the people who were doing the moving job were indeed subcontractors they were not directly employed (which defeats the purpose and was the whole reason why I chose to use them in the first place). Do not believe them when they tell you they directly employ their movers.

We moved the house with the help of Yossi Angus and Leo. They were very efficient and super friendly. Very professional service for affordable price. All the furnitures came to the new house with no damage and moved into the house with lot of care :) we will definitely ask for their help again!

The team did a solid job overall — friendly, punctual, and handled the furniture well with no damage. Communication was good and they worked efficiently on the day. Only reason it’s not five stars is the duplicate transfer mix-up, which took a bit of back-and-forth to sort out. Otherwise a smooth move and I’d happily use them again.
