Hi Emma,
I'm sorry if you haven't seen the preview button in the editor, but if you click that, you can test your experiences for 48 hours, as if they were published.
But it is correct that we don't allow full publishing during the free trial.
But as mentioned, preview lets you do the same, and you can even share the link with anyone without any limit to the number of views. It's only limited to being live for 48 hours. And after every 48 hours, you can generate a new preview link and QR code and share that.
