After looking for an independent garage, Holt Pound came highly recommended & it was clear to see why!

Ollie was very helpful on the phone when booking my car in for its MOT & service; he then gave me a call to advise me of a couple of minor issues that needed sorting.

He ordered in the parts & got it done on the day. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices quoted too & it was nice to deal with the person actually working on the car, unlike going to the main dealerships and never seeing the person who is doing the work.

I have been unfortunate to have had some bad experiences with mechanics in the past, so it was refreshing to come across Holt Pound & find a team who I feel are honest, friendly and trustworthy.

Thanks to Ollie & team - I’ll be coming back for all future car needs!

Great guys, knowledgable but also very welcoming, which is quite rare in the motor trade now days. Fixed a couple of problems on my van including AC fault that someone else couldn’t diagnose. My wife has since been there for a fault on her car (on her own) and my Land Rover (sorry lol) will be going there at some point also. Reasonable priced as well !

I took my car to 3 local garages (before contacting Ollie and Tom) to be fobbed off, messed around and ignored. At that point I had been without my car for a number of weeks. I got my car to Holt Pound, they diagnosed the issue straightaway (literally by looking at it on the forecourt) as not a big issue - I had previously been told it would be a very costly and lengthy repair. Long story short, I had my car back in 2 days. Fully repaired, great communication and a fraction of the cost that I had been quoted by the other garages. I will not take my car anywhere else now. Excellent communication, friendly and prompt. Wish I could give them more stars!!!

Transparent, communicative and efficient - everything you’d want and not always the case with garages in my experience. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone.

Ollie and Tom have been looking after my cars for some years now. They provide excellent service at very reasonable prices and are totally trustworthy. I did not hesitate to follow them to the new premises at Holt Pound. I would highly recommend them.

I called in on spec to get a tow bar repaired. Despite being booked out they squeezed me in and sorted the problem.

Left my car with Tom and Olly on the 16th April for its MOT.
I waited in the Ball and Wicket next door (had some lunch)
My car was ready within an hour,
The guys are really friendly and efficient.
