I ordered McAfee Total Protection for 10 devices with a U.S. license, as the purchase was made in the United States. However, I received a McAfee LiveSafe code intended for European regions—a different product entirely. Unfortunately, my attempts to resolve this through Home-Use support did not yield a satisfactory response. I have since requested a refund

I bought software from them and the code they sent does not work in the USA. It is for Europe. I contact them via chat and the reply was in a foreign language. I sent an email and I got a “thank you we’ll get in contact with you.” It’s been three days and I am still waiting for that contact!

Do not purchase
Similar complaint as others - when I went to activate my subscription, it would only allow me to do so in a European country and I live in the US. I called McAfee and they said it was not a legitimate product.
