If I could give less than 1 star I would. I worked for them as a cleaner, they allowed clients to do chargebacks with absolutely no remorse to cleaners. Cleaners are demanded to pay back charge backs... See more

I am updating my review regarding homeaglow company. Ms. Callie called me she refund my money and also gave me free 4 hours voucher she resolved my issue. Thank you.

The worst! Dont get scammed. They sell you the $20 deal. The cleaner never showed up I reached out to the cleaner and company. Zero response. 4 hours afterwards the cleaner said he had a flat tire. Wanted to reschedule. I said absolutely not! I demanded a refund. The next day there was a $60 charge on my credit card. I have called emailed and texted with zero response. This is 100% a scam. I am canceling my credit card and listing it as a fraudulent unauthorized transaction. Avoid homeaglow! SCAM

Deceitful. I signed up not realizing they charge you recurring fees of $59 a month for 6 months. Cancellation fee is an absurd $300.
They should be put out of business for the scam they run.

If i coult , i would negative star. Their cleaners do not show up. They claim to be the most affordable oprice on market. So not true. I will give you example.
$59 per month membership + $30 per hour for the cleaner + the required tip. That was the cheapest per hour i found on their offerings, unlike they hook you up with $22 per hour. And they hook you up for contract of 6 months , which is not very clear.
So you end up paying total at least $200 for 4 hours cleaning with all the fees. Definately not the most affordable one on market as they market themselves.
Lastly their customer service only operates via email , so its slow to respond , and not reliable. No real human beings behind this, its like AI is running it.
I am beyond un happy , and i hope their company fails for good.

I booked a 6-hour package. The cleaner was on the phone all day. She managed to clean two bathrooms and mopped half of the house in 6 hours. I canceled right after and Homeaglow refuses to refund the membership fee despite agreeing to do so.

The absolute worst I’m fighting with him since November to stop charging my account. I had to cancel my card or over the worst company ever don’t do it. It’s a scam to get your credit card number and even if you change it I don’t know how they did it they keep charging.

I had an extremely frustrating—and honestly concerning—experience with this cleaning service.
I booked a cleaning through their app with a specific cleaner. Then, about an hour before the appointment, I received a call from someone on their team referencing a completely different cleaner’s name, with zero acknowledgment that this was a change from my original booking.
When I called back to clarify, they told me they couldn’t update the cleaner’s name on the website and couldn’t connect me to anyone who could actually help or escalate the issue. Meanwhile, their website explicitly states that if a cleaner is changed, it will always be reflected in your booking details—which clearly wasn’t the case here.
This isn’t just poor communication—it’s a safety issue. I booked based on a specific, verified person, and they attempted to send someone else without proper notice or transparency.
Completely unacceptable. I ended up cancelling and will not be using this service again.

This company has had 3,292 total complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau in the last 3 years. Stay far away! Deceptive business practices:
I used a trial for a 1-time cleaning promo of which I paid for 5 hours with what was advertised as an experienced, 5-star professional. The person left after only 2.5 hours, did a horrendous job, and he said my home was his first time working with the company (which means his 5-star reviews were fake and he was not experienced). He also only brought with him a bucket, mop, pinesol, and bleach despite the website advertising that the house cleaners bring their own items. I keep a very clean home to begin with. Somehow, this person made it dirtier. The floor is actually sticky from the volume of pinesol used without a rinse. Only two rags were used for the entire home despite giving the gentleman a bucket of supplies, rags, and sponges. Streaks and residue are everywhere. I had to clean the entire home after he left.
To make things worse, I emailed Homeaglow immediately and asked them to cancel my account because I wouldn't use the company again. I was then charged an additional $59. They told me that they signed me up for a 6-month membership and to cancel, I'd have to pay $157 if I don't want to be paying $59 for the next 6 months. I repeatedly told them I never signed up for a subscription. I'm still waiting on a response after 6 emails.

Our cleaner was great. The lack of transparency regarding their first time cleaning for $19 is the problem. You are automatically subscribed to a monthly membership. If you want to cancel there is a $175 fee. They should be way more transparent regarding the attached fees. They also have no way to complain about a cleaner without the cleaner finding out which is dangerous when a person knows where you live and know who complained or canceled their cleaning. From what I understand, they also pay their cleaners a very low fee. Overall, stay far away.

How could I do something like this without even looking at Trustpilot rating.
They are a pure scam. All the same problems like on other reports.
I had to call my bank and file a claim to get my money back.
AVOID!

Its a SCAM, they trick you with an initial cleaning and then you are locked in to a monthly subscription that you have you pay a cancellation fee for!.

Reply from Homeaglow
The subscription is mandatory for six months when you purchase the first time and after the first time cleaning. Even that you not satisfy the cleaning. If you want to cancel the subscription, they will charge you termination fee.
Why does a customer automatically become bound to a membership after using the first cleaning service, even if the customer is not satisfied with the result?
From a customer's perspective, it seems more reasonable that the first cleaning should serve as a trial of your service. If the service meets the customer’s expectations, then the customer can voluntarily choose to subscribe to a membership. However, in my case, the first cleaning did not meet my expectations, yet I am still required to continue paying for a subscription or pay an early termination fee.
Could Homeaglow please clarify what service standards your company follows to ensure customer satisfaction? Is the membership primarily designed to attract customers with cheap pricing, while requiring them to continue paying even if the service does not meet their expectations?
I believe a fair approach would be to allow customers the option to decline the membership if the first service is unsatisfactory. I would appreciate it if you could reconsider the cancellation terms in my case given the circumstances.

This company is terrible. Please do not work for them. they are a scam. They are worthless company a terrible to work for and a false advertisement.

I would give zero stars if I could. I wanted to book someone to help a family member who was recovering from surgery, and I needed to have it done right away. To their credit, Homeaglow was the only company of several I contacted to even respond to me. The person who called me aggressively tried to push for the "membership" but I insisted on just one visit and then we'd see how it went. My card was charged for the agreed upon amount. My relative refused the gift of cleaning but was willing to reschedule on a later date. When I tried to contact Homeaglow I found them almost impossible to communicate with. Phone numbers either went unanswered, or I had to leave a voice mail which was never returned. Eventually I got them to confirm a new date. The cleaner was a NO SHOW. They tried to get me to reschedule but I insisted on cancelling and I did receive a refund. There is much more detail to this story, but the bottom line is I would NEVER use them, knowing what I do now.

Signed up for a 19.99 cleaning, which then enrolled me in a 59/ month minimum 6 month agreement. I was lead to believe that was good for 1 cleaning a month. I tipped the cleaner 20 bucks and then was charged another 100 bucks after she left... huge scam.
Membership fee nonsense. Not one lie has been told by other reviews. Horrible at communicating. How the hell is this company still in business?? They’ve been scamming people for a decade.

Reply from Homeaglow
OMG ! This company is such a scam ! First they trapped me into signing by advertising a one time cleaning at $18 per hour. Then they say there is a $140 cancellation. Now they have charged me a monthly of $60 for membership AND $180 additional in mysterious fees that I don't know what it is ! Like what the hell, and there is NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT, i don't know how to get my money back at all. I wish I had read their reviews.
