If I could give this company 0 stars I…

If I could give this company 0 stars I would , it has been a dreadful service and the company home assist send out JMC are the worst engineers ever.
On 10th February 2026 home assist sent out to engineer to service my boiler , it was working perfectly until they serviced it , I then noticed I had no hot water and it was getting colder and colder , so I called them , they sent another engineer who stated I had no gas as its lpg tank , I said I have but they wasn’t having it , so I had to pay £75.00 for Calor gas to tell me yes I have got gas and the tank is fine and there is gas going to boiler. , I firstly had to wait 3 days for second visit I’m 63 years old and disabled with no heating or hot water.
On 15 th February 2026 another engineer said it’s a faulty gas valve and ignition component another 4 days waiting for parts , I couldn’t stand the cold no more so brought 2 heaters from Amazon .on the 19th February engineer come again and put in gas valve and ignition component still not working, engineer decided it needed circuit board now , got to order it .
23 rd February 2026 fitted circuit board still not working, now they decide it needs a full strip service the engineer didn’t even show up , swore he did but didn’t , said he phoned me he didn’t I have logs to prove it.
Then the manager Simon phoned after I had called him saying they don’t cover holiday park homes , firstly it’s not it is a residential home I pay council tax and registered on the electoral roll , second great excuse to not come out and fix the boiler they broke and cancelled my policy and even had the cheek to say I owe them to cancel !!!
Wednesday I called Worcester Bosh and asked them to look at my boiler , the engineer came out , wasn’t there long and noticed the condensation trap on the boiler was leaking as it was full because it had not been tightened up on the service , he tightened it up and it worked perfectly,
So it had not run out of gas as stated it didn’t need a gas valve or ignition component or even a circuit board , it needed your incompetent engineer to tighten it up , so 3 weeks later i now have hot water and heating thanks to Worcester Bosh not these clowns !!!
Don’t use this company in their terms and conditions they have a get out clause for everything, the JNC engineers they use are useless and incompetent and can’t wait to get out of anything and lie as well !!
They don’t care your old they don’t care your disabled and cold , they just want your money and if you start costing money they have a get out clause to , perhaps home emergency assistance you should look at your engineers who haven’t a clue what they are doing and causing stress and illness to their customers, please don’t use these bunch of clowns I am now going to ombudsman to make a complaint of this incompetent company and their engineers.

We are sorry to read the serious allegations made in this review. However, having read your comments carefully and checked our records thoroughly, we do **not** believe this review relates to **Home Assist 365 Ltd**.

The first and most obvious issue is that, in your own wording, you state: **“perhaps home emergency assistance you should look at your engineers…”**. That is not our company name. We are **Home Assist 365 Ltd**. The business you refer to in the body of your review appears to be a different company entirely.

You also refer to **“JMC/JNC engineers”** and a manager called **“Simon”**. Those details do **not** match our company, our staff, our management team, or our engineer network. We have no connection with the engineers or individuals named in your review.

In addition, despite the amount of detail you have provided, we have been unable to identify any matching customer record, property, postcode, policy, job reference, engineer attendance history, complaint history, or boiler service history corresponding with the events you describe. We cannot trace any record of a visit on **10 February 2026**, any follow-up attendances on **15, 19 or 23 February 2026**, any dispute regarding LPG supply, any alleged diagnosis of a gas valve, ignition component or circuit board, any conversation about a holiday park home, or any policy cancellation matching the matter you have set out.

You also refer to a sequence of events involving Calor Gas, Worcester Bosch, an alleged leaking condensation trap, and comments said to have been made by attending engineers and management. These are serious assertions. If they were genuinely made against our company, there would be corresponding records, notes, engineer details, call logs, or complaint history that could be investigated. We have been unable to locate anything that matches the account you have posted.

We are a **Bristol-based company**, and from both the wording of your review and the circumstances described, this matter does not appear to relate to our business, our area, or our records. The company name you refer to is different, the engineer details are different, the manager name is different, and the job history described cannot be linked to **Home Assist 365 Ltd** in any way.

Your review contains very serious allegations, including incompetence, unnecessary repairs, dishonesty, missed appointments, wrongful cancellation of cover, and poor treatment of an elderly and disabled customer. We take any genuine complaint of that nature extremely seriously. However, reviews of this seriousness must be posted against the **correct business**. Where a reviewer names a different company in the text of the review and refers to engineers and managers who are not connected to us, it is not fair or accurate for that review to remain on our Trustpilot profile.

If you genuinely believe your complaint relates to **Home Assist 365 Ltd**, then please contact us directly with your **full name, property address, postcode, policy number, job reference, and the dates of all alleged attendances**, so that we can investigate the matter fully and without delay.

If, as appears to be the case, this review was intended for another company, we respectfully request that it is removed from our profile and redirected to the correct business.

The telephone number you have provided is invalied and you are based in Birmingham, we are bassed in Bristol. Reporting you to Trust Piliot for a fake review and mistaken company.

Extremely unprofessional and time wasters.

If there is anything below zero, I would have given this company less than a star. They are absolutely useless; their engineer was subcontracted to repair the boiler by 247 Home Assist Ltd. He came very well-dressed with a screwdriver in his hand, looked at the boiler, and condemned it beyond economical repair without even taking the case off and he listed that every part inside the boiler needs to be replaced giving the reason that they are all corroded. Despite the fact that the boiler was working providing both hot water and heating. It only started leaking 2 day before he arrived from the bottom right hand side Consequently, I called the manufacturer of the boiler (Worcester Bosch) who required the serial number of the boiler, which I provided and they assured me that the boiler can be repaired at a fixed price of £397 which is a fraction of what the boiler insurance (247 Home Assist Ltd) quoted, which is based on the Home Assist 365 Ltd engineer 1 minute looking at the boiler. Furthermore, when Worcester Bosch engineer came to fix the boiler, he showed me that nothing is corroded due to the fact that the leaky part is made from plastic. Avoid at any cost, they are scammers, time-waster and very stressful to deal with

this is a reply to your reply. it is definitely you. please do not try to confuse the issue. i have an image of the appointment with your company name and details but unfortunately can not load it up on this portal

Hi,

Thank you for your comment. After reviewing what you’ve written, it’s clear there has been a mix-up with the company you are referring to.

We have carried out a full check of our internal system, engineer logs, appointment records and customer database, and your name, address, policy details or any interaction of any kind do not appear anywhere on our system.
Because of this, we can confirm with certainty that Home Assist 365 Ltd has never attended your property, inspected your boiler, or provided any assessment relating to your appliance.

It sounds like the engineer who visited you was arranged by your insurer, 247 Home Assist Ltd, and was not part of our company. Although the names are similar, we are completely separate businesses with no connection, shared staff, or shared contractors.

Your review appears to be based on the actions of another company’s engineer, not ours.

To resolve your issue, we would recommend contacting your insurance provider directly, as they will have a record of which subcontractor actually attended and carried out the inspection at your property.

We take pride in our professionalism and the quality of service we provide to customers, so it’s important to clarify that this situation does not relate to Home Assist 365 Ltd in any way.

If you need any further clarification, we’re happy to help — but this review does not apply to us and appears to have been posted in error.

Kind regards,
Home Assist 365 Ltd

To you reply!

Hi, thanks for your follow-up message.

We’ve double-checked our full appointment system, engineer logs, route sheets, and job history — and we can confirm that no appointment has ever been booked under your name, address, phone number or postcode with Home Assist 365 Ltd.

We are not disputing that you may have had an appointment, but it was not with our company.

It’s very common for customers to mix up companies with similar names, especially when insurers, brokers or third-party administrators use subcontractors. If you have a job reference or insurer name, we can point you in the right direction.

To be clear:
✔ We did not attend
✔ We have no record of you
✔ We were not instructed
✔ No engineer from our company visited your property

Trustpilot also allows you to upload evidence privately. If you share the appointment confirmation you mentioned, we can review it and help you identify which contractor actually attended.

We’re happy to assist you in finding the correct company — but this review is not related to our business.

Thank you.

— Home Assist 365 Ltd

I wish I could give them a zero.

I wish I could give them a zero.
What a bunch of cowboys. They were sent out by Domestic & General to my elderly parents' 8 year-old leaking boiler. They told my father that the repair would be a quick job when they got the part. They made no attempt to do anything to catch the leaking water, and left it dripping onto the loft floor, potentially causing further damage.
Told my father to call the Domestic & general later that afternoon, who told him that the engineer had condemned the boiler and he needed to have a new boiler.
This morning we have called out a professional boiler engineer who immediately identified the leaking diverter valve as a common issue with these boilers - easily and quickly rectified. New boiler most definitely not required.
Shame on you Homeassist365. Domestic & General have been informed.
