I cannot fault the service I received from homebuyeronline.co.uk. They are competitive on price, and arranged to view the property the next working day after I ordered a homebuyers report. By the following evening, I was able to download their comprehensive report, which put my mind at rest regarding the condition of the property. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Quick, simple and very easy to do on line. No complaints at all. The report was very thorough and we purchased and received it back within one week. Would recommend.

Surveyor appointed was useful and communicative. I did not need to communicate with homebuyeronline themselves so cannot comment on that. Price was the original attraction and I received a further reduction after leaving my order unfinished for a while whilst I investigated other options.

It was really easy to go through the guidelines and choose a right service. I've saved £80 for my homebuyer report comparing to the Agents recommended company.
So all in all happy with the quality and timing for my purchase.

Why pay more? There is no more a Homebuyers Surveyor could do! Full written report with Email assistance and on the end of a telephone, if required. - Would be nice if they climbed on flat roofs to check them out but that doesn't come in their remit! Very polite and helpful.

My report was carried out quickly following the order being placed. Mr G Bridgeman-Clarke was thorough and helpful when I spoke to him on the telephone with a couple of queries. The report was available for on line viewing within a few days of the initial instructions. A very smooth process altogether!

I would thoroughly recommend Homebuyer Online for anyone to use. The whole process was simple to arrange from start to finish. It was much less expensive than some of the independent quotes I had before going on line and it was good to know exactly what you were going to pay right at the start including VAT and no unexpected add ons. The Surveyor was efficient and the report was received very quickly. The whole process took some of the stress out of the house purchase minefield.

I got a quote online then went ahead and ordered the survey online. This was very convenient for me as it’s difficult to use the phone at work so this way was very quick and easy.

I ordered a Homebuyers Report which cost £327.75 for a 2 bed semi detached. It took 10 days in total from date of order to when I received the report via email.

I was happy with the service and the detail of the report.

Instructed on the Thursday surveyor arranged visit on Monday had my copy of survey
by Wednesday excellent service and a comprehensive report.

I would not certainly recommend using this service, nor use again. From the transaction, nothing heard until I started chasing. The survey not local to the area, some 40 mile away. I had to chase for the survey 7/10 days after the visit.
Such a service needs clear reporting milestones.
1. initial contact and introduction
2. Confirm contact with agent to arrange visit
3. Confirm visit date
4. Confirm visit has taken place and the report will be available in x days
5 Submit the report.
Its not rocket science!

Not much more to say really. We were buying a fairly new property with no problems anticipated, so looking for most affordable survey. Best priced and good service, and the one query I had was discussed happily with us - ie no "online only" approach - the surveyor seemed to be a knowledgeable and helpful chap!
The reviews complaining about service speed seem odd from what I experienced - very fast service ... perhaps some buyers need to note that the survey speed is also subject to ease of access to the property.
In my experience you wont find much cheaper - not with such a comprehensive report.

One of the reasons I went with HomeBuyerOnline was because of the speed. The website said about five working days. Two weeks after my survey I'd heard nothing so decided to call HBO. Number not working. Called the surveyor on his mobile and office numbers but no answer, so I left a message but was not called back. The next day I tried again, but still nothing. I was starting to wonder if I'd been conned. My last attempt was an email to the surveyor, to which he replied, which was a relief!

The survey report was very comprehensive and was much more than what I was expecting so no complaints there, but seriously HomeBuyerOnline, if you are going to display your number at the top of the homepage, make sure it actually works!!

I requested the survey on the monday morning, it was carried out on the thursday and the in depth report was recieved on the friday. I would recommend Homebuyer online to anyone based on my experience

Great company. Report was scheduled and carried out within a week of applying. Detailed report was returned in full a week later. Really helpful and worthwhile. Good value for money.

The overall experience was very good. The booking process was straight forward and the confirmation pack along with contact details came through straight away. The survey was completed on time and in an efficient way. I would have liked some kind of confirmation to say it had been carried out so I didn't have to email the surveyor. However a speedy response came back along with my report approx 1 week later.; Would use again and recommend.

It was a very easy process the follow and the survey was carried out very speedily. Only concern was the valuation was lower than expected and that wasn't in line with estate agents.

Was a very good price compared to other quotes. Also much quicker than expected; booked on a monday, the survey was done the following friday and got the report back 3 days later! Could of been more detailed, they couldn't find our gas and electricity meters which was surprising. There is a large crack in the outside wall which wasn't mentioned but we are not sure if this is our wall! Overall very pleased with the hassle free service.
